Return (Open)

Flawless - Harry said to himself while carefully examining his body. Tsidia got closer, hypnotized as he was already singing something quietly.
- Hey. Any plans for today?
- Your turn
He gave her a look saing "You already know do you?"
- You can't override yourself yet. Everybody has to start somewhere.
- Alright then -He looked at his medication noticing that there's only few left- How about a walk in the forest?
Tsidia was shocked by the peacefulness inside him.
- Okay. Is everyth...
He was already outside "tasting the air" as he calls it
- Come on, let's go!
Nearest forest was relativly close. They were able to get there without any disturbances; well if you exclude Harry hitting few solid objects on his way, remembering how flying works.
- What exactly are we doing here?
- Searching
- For what?
- Memories
So they adventured deep into the never-ending green of "Kaeshwi", recollecting lost past.

Okay, he was totally lost again, wasn't he? Xasheski had decided to come to a halting stop, his claws skidding against the earthen ground, as his claws sunk into the dirt. He felt a shiver run down his spine as he shook himself. Darn it! He was suppose to be able to find his way around, so how did he keep ending up in the middle of nowhere. His gave himself a gentle shake, sending frustration traveling all throughout his body. He wasn't even sure if he was on the same continent anymore. He was getting tired of flying, though, and really want to beat his wings anymore. Now was a better time than ever to just flop down on the ground and relax.

But, alas, his work wasn't done yet. The young dragon looked up, flicking his ear. Only an eye opened, though, his head laying on the hard, dirt floor. It was the sound of an animal. Or something. At least, judging from the smell, it was something he would love to eat. The thought of savory flavors made his stomach growl, reminding how hungry he was.

He considered his aching bones, and let out a groan, rolling onto his side, crushing the grass underneath him. He laid there for a moment, quiet. Then, with a groan, he decided to get up. He lifted his head to the sky, sniffing. Another growl from his stomach made him wince. Man, he was a lot hungrier than he had first thought. Aimlessly flying sure does take your mind of your hunger.

With a contemplative look on where he should start, he turned his head, and went on his way, his ears perked. His attention, however, hadn't quite left his aches, as he quickly almost tripped over a branch. He managed to catch himself, though. Looking down at the twig, he made a mental note to focus, and continued on his way.

Overwhelmed by the amount of life all around her, Tsidia haven't sensed a young dragon entering the forest. After few hours of talking and exploring, they were getting increasingly hungry, and after Harry's 3 failed hunt attempts Tsidia sensed the closest creature big enough to eat, and -after checking if it's not another dragon- killed it with a simple ice attack she picked up using energykinesis. After that they argued about where to lay down. Suddenly Harry's senses started picking up new sounds relatively close to them. His wings were still bleeding from the collisions he had on his way.
- Maybe those scratches weren't so harmless after all.
- Shh, you hear that?
She couldn't, but she could however feel something in the back of her head. Focusing on the connections around her, Tsidia could find a weak consciousness nearby. Someone young and introverted. It was enough to trigger her maternal instinct.
"Anyone here?" - she said in the dragon's direction, trying to sound as friendly as possible

Re: Return (Open)

Post by Xavierr on Thu Apr 20, 2017 1:18 pm

As Xash trudged along, his head down, sniffing the air, he suddenly got a whiff of something tasty. A small smile appeared on his face. Maybe he would get something to eat. He quietly sprinted towards the direction of the smell, slowing down as he got closer. He lowered his small, jet black body to the ground, in an attempt of being less noticeable. However, due to the fact it was the middle of spring, and everything was green, he would probably stick out like a sore thumb. Though, of course, this problem had never occurred back in the jungle, considering how dark the canopies made everything.

Still, Xa tried to push these thoughts away. Shaking his head, he kept going, until he spotted what would soon be his delicious prey.

It was a small doe. She appeared kind of lanky, and skinny, but hey, food was food, you know? Xasheski doubted she'd be able to outrun him, especially considering his significant speed on land and in the sky. Slowly, he would stalk up to her. Because she was upwind from him, meaning she wouldn't be able to catch a whiff of his smell. It almost seemed like the gods were rewarding him. He wondered what he had done to deserve this treat.

However, the glaze of perfection was soon swiped away, as a voice from his left called out, startling the deer. Xash let out an agitated growl, as he shot after it, but it was too late. He groaned in frustration, stamping the ground with his claws.

He then looked up, wondering where the voice had come from. Maybe he should get out of here, before he could be found out. He had no idea what the dragons were like here, as he had yet to meet one.

"Come on out, we won't hurt you" - Tsidia once again said awaiting response. In the meantime she gathered some rocks and arranged them into provisional fireplace.
- You know, if someone was hunting here you probably just screwed their day over 360 degrees. You can't just shout at trees in the forest. It's against wildlife convention
- "Wildlife convention"? What even is that? - Tsidia failed to whisper as she gathered fire-susceptible material.
- It's a fancy word I just made up for not being a jerk in the forest - Harry explained, while breathing out dense, black gas, leaving Tsidia to light it up. She would punch him in the face, if she didn't know him enough to know he didn't mean to insult her. Still, it was hard for her to get used to it, constant mixture of sarcasm, painful truth, and complaining that is.
- But now that you started it, watch how to do it. - He stood up, cleared his throat, turned to where he assumed a potential viewer might be and spoke in a blank, universal voice:
"Free food, no harm, your choice, but if you wanna come make it quick. We don't have all day."
Meanwhile Tsidia lit up the fire, warm flames smelled of chemicals for a moment, before taking in their natural scent.

For a moment, Xasheski remained quiet. That was, until he heard the voice of another stranger. Man, where did all these dragons keep coming from, he wondered absently to himself. His claws dug gently into the ground, feeling the moist dirt surround his paws. He remained firmly in place, refusing to move. He held his head up, slightly defiant. Like he was going to trust some voice in the woods. The last time he had done that, he had nearly gotten himself killed. Though, the idea of food was tempting...

No! He could find his own food, thank you very much.

He was silent for a moment more. Then, much to his internal voice's dismay, he sucked up the courage to speak, though his voice portrayed obvious unease. "I'm not going anywhere until you show yourself. Who are you?" he called. He would get a good look at them, and try to determine if they were friend or foe.

If they seemed nice, he'd come over. If not.... well, he was confident enough in his abilities to trust that they would be able to get him out of there. He remained rigid, watching the general direction where he had heard the voices come from. Hid mind was fluttered by a variety of thoughts. Some good. Some bad.

- Well, whatever -
Harry shrugged and turned to his food.
- No, no no no no. One last time.
- Are you kidding me? Alright, one last time, but I'm not taking this circus any longer.
He rolled his eyes, tried to sound as neutral as possible and exclaimed:
- We are literally sitting next to a fire, on open terrain, during the day. What do you want us do, build a sign here? Before you ask, there are 2 of us. It can be 3, if you want to come.
- Don't worry, we're no threat to you.
- If we wanted to kill you, you'd be dead already, besides why would we?
He would have added "If you're not coming I don't care, you had your chance" if Tsidia didn't stop him there. She was getting tired of it as well.

Re: Return (Open)

A small frown would appear on Xash's face, as he backed up a bit. He started to carefully consider the situation. On one wing, there was a chance of food and a full tummy, and maybe some socialization for once in a long while. On the other wing, there was also the possibility that these dragons could be waiting for an ambush. But at the same time, they didn't sound like they were dangerous. Maybe... he would just take a little peak, to make sure that they really were harmless, before he showed himself completely.

Hesitantly, he walked in the direction of the voices, his body brushing up against bushes and leaves. He felt the scratches of twigs against his scales, but they didn't really bother him. When he reached the border of the forest, he tentatively poked his head out, through the leaves, his brilliant bright eyes blinking as a sudden swarm of sunlight came shining his way.

Sure enough, he saw two dragons, sitting in the sunlight, with the food they had promised. One looked to have an injury on its wing, so this made Xasheski pretty sure that the two weren't going to fight. This made him let out a gentle sigh of relief.

With a small breath, he would call out to the other dragons, "Okay, I'll come," he said. Part of him wanted to add "Who knows, it might even be fun." but he kept that thought to himself. He then walked out into the light, approaching the other two dragons cautiously, but seemingly more relaxed than he had been before.

See? Here you go. - Harry didn't try to hide his pride, small victory distracted him from the deer for a moment. Tsidia couldn't help herself, but Awww at the cuteness of young nightfurry walking out of the woods. He was exactly like she pictured him: Small, introverted, and scared. Well, not so scared right now, at least these were the signals she could read.
- Can we eat now? - Harry almost pleaded, overwhelmed by all the social interactions he was suddenly thrown into. Tsidia would prefer regular, formal exchange of phrases first, but noticing he was at the edge of cry, decided otherwise. When Harry was strong enough to function properly, he decided to be the one starting the conversation.
- So... what's your name? Do you live here? Are you rouge? You don't like part of any tribe.
Tsidia gave him a light, mental slap in the face to stop asking about everything at once.

Xasheski was a little surprised, and caught off guard, by how friendly these strangers seemed to act. He hadn't been around friendly dragons in... well, forever. Actually, he just hadn't been around dragons in general in a while. The young dragon tilted his head at them, his shining blue eyes staring up with a sparkle when the one dragon mentioned eating. However, when the same dragon received a look from the other, it prompted a whole bunch of questions, which overwhelmed Xash a bit, causing his ears to reflexively go down.

"Um, m-my name is Xasheski. I guess you could say I live here. I sort of just flew in, and I've found it's a lot more peaceful than m-my previous homes. And uh, yeah, I'm a rogue," the night fury explained, the tip of his tail twitching. It had been a while since he had needed to answer those questions, and he was still a little nervous.

He was also more than a little hungry. While he talked, his eyes would avert back and forth between looking over at the two dragons and looking at the food behind them.

Oh, right the food! - Tsidia said a little embarrassed noticing the devouring gaze of her companions. With the little experience she had, she skinned the animal, cut it into even pieces, put them on a stick, and roasted them over the fire, rotating a few times. Harry was watching this process with the most intense stare of his entire life, not even blinking worried that the food will go away. When it was ready, she distributed them equally and cursed the fact that she didn't have any herbs with her. Harry would normally say that it tastes great (He always compliments food he receives for free), but he didn't really know since he absorbed his part in like 5 seconds. The only bit left he had, he decided to eat as slowly as he could to catch up with the others.

Xasheski watched eagerly as he saw Tsidia begin to make the food. He would sit down, still a little bit of a distance from the two, as he eyed the meal. Watching the process really reminded him of how hungry he was. It made the twinge in his gut grow even stronger. But despite his ravished appetite, he managed to control himself, quietly sitting there in the hard, rocky dirt, until the dragoness had finished preparing it. It sort of reminded him of back when he was part of a tribe. At least, before things had turned sour....

When the food was finally done, he dipped his head to Tsidia, a sign of gratitude, "T-thank you for the meal. It really is quite generous for you to offer me some," he explained timidly, slowly lowering his body and taking a small bite of the deer. It was actually quite good.

He would feast on the food, taking small, slow bites, as he watched the two dragons in silence while they ate.

Tsidia afforded a small smile. It was the best she could do for the little Xasheski. "No problem" - she said, watching them eat, only taking small bites herself. The Dragoness giggled a little watching Harry cut the little bit he had left in about 8 pieces and trying to pace himself with them. If she didn't stop him, he would probably know all Xashewski's fears, successes, dreams, origins, special abilities, and his opinion on runic magic and distant galaxies by now. Her good mood however, was soon broken by the little drop of blood, dripping out of his wing. She knew that he was in pain, trying to hide it.
- Y-you know - she started shyly, trying to adapt to her listener - You look like someone who had to take care of himself for a long time. My friend over here - she gently tapped Harry's wings with her tail  - got into some... turbulences on his way here, and Uhmm... -She blushed deeper ever second, trying to find the right words to say - he recently woke up from a coma and...
- Any help means a lot. - Harry helped her finish and pet her snout lightly to help her calm down.

Xasheski would blink, his tail curling up tightly around his legs. He listened to Tsidia with quiet attentiveness, keeping his eyes open and concentrated on what she was talking about. He would nod slowly as she talked about how he may have become accustomed to taking care of himself. Unfortunately, when she gestured towards the injured wing of the dragon beside her, the small night fury frowned.

The truth was, Xash didn't have much knowledge when it came to healing injuries. He dipped his head in a sort of apologetic way. "Um, I'm sorry miss, but I'm afraid I don't know that much about treating those kinds of things.... hmmm," he drifted off, thinking for a bit. Well, there were probably some herbs around here he could use, but he wasn't sure.

"Actually, I have an idea, that may be able to help you. I'll be right back." Xasheski would say quickly, finishing up what was left of his meal, before getting up, and heading back the way he came. He had thought he had seen something he recognized, so maybe he could try to use that.

Xasheski didn't have as much experience with herbs as he wished he did. He only knew some basics. He would quickly shuffle through the woods, disappearing from Harry and Tsidia's sight.

//I'm not entirely sure if I want to continue this since everything from now on will be very predictable and maybe a bit boring, unless something weird happens, or someone else joins. Well, anyway...

- Do you think we scared him off? - Tsidia asked nervously looking at the direction Xashewski left.
- Nah. He'll be right back. Sure thing.
Enjoying short moments of privacy Harry whispered for her to get closer, wrapping around her in tight, warm hug, receiving  a small sigh from her. He had to fight her tail off with his own. Obviously he had no chance against her skilled movements, she was using it for everything from moving small objects to casting spells since she was born, but a few gentle blocks were more than enough to avoid her hitting his injured wings. "Do you always have to give away our resources to strangers? And why do we always meet someone at the fireplace? Is this some kind of attention attractor?" He scratched behind her ear, and pressed her favorite spot where her wings connected with the rest of her body, earning a deep purr, and increasing difficulty, her tail lashing faster and more unpredictably. It was getting harder to keep up. "I just can't get by, knowing that someone, somewhere may need my help, without me ever noticing, ignoring them as they stray away from us further. you know that." "I do... I do". For a second Harry could swear he saw something blinking in his vision, before disappearing, never to be seen again. That distraction was more than enough for Tsidia to accidentally break through his defense, and hit him with her tail, right in the injury. His vision blurred red, he could hear his own scream escaping from him, unstoppable by any resistances.

Re: Return (Open)

(It’s fine) :)

Xasheski would make his way through the woods, his paws making slight crunching sounds as he would step on and over twigs and fallen leaves and branches. As a pretty small dragon, Xasheski was pretty good at blending into his surroundings. It made him curious as to how the other dragoness was able to find out where he was. And while, sure, he hadn’t been being particularly quiet, his small body made him naturally silent. Well, at least compared to other draconiforms that he knew.

He would continue on his walk, a pretty decent memory of something he had passed still in his brain. He was currently on the search for a special kind of herb, which if chewed up, you could apply it to a wound, to help seize the burning, and to help it heal. The only reason he knew what it looked like was because of how long he had needed to survive on his own. When your survival depends on this kind of stuff, you pick it up pretty fast. He hadn’t seen many of the herbs around, so he hoped he could find it again.

As he was scavenging through the underbrush, however, he heard a scream. His ears instantly perked up, and he looked around, his body growing tense, his tail tucking partly underneath him. It sounded like it had come from the same direction he had come from. Had they been attacked? His ears fell back against his head at the idea.

Okay, maybe he should head back? Oh, but he hadn’t found the herbs yet! He groaned, and contemplated what to do. At the same token, if he went back, there was no telling what could be waiting for him. What if it was some beast, ten times his size? There was no way he could beat something like that. He also barely knew those dragons.

He hesitated a moment, taking a tentative step forward, then stopping. He would wait for a bit, then see what to do.

"WHY ARE WE CONSTANTLY ON THE EDGE OF DYING", Harry exclaimed while moving in pain, his wings bleeding. Hopefully it wasn't anything serious, or he would be very "angry" for the rest of the month. Tsidia instinctively tried to shield him from the pain, but he only growled and stepped back. He would never let her suffer if it wasn't life or death scenario. He quickly reached for his medication, letting peaceful silence take over his mind. When the first paralysis left him he slowly laid down next to the fireplace, and looked around for anything helpful in his reach. If he wanted to stop the bleeding he would need to get creative. Harry called for strings in color red, after the pain he was going through. He made them as thin as possible and moved them towards the injury. During the first contact his vision blurred again, another scream leaving his maw. After nearly a minute-long battle Tsidia was able to use the strings against their owner, and break into his mind, stealing portion of his pain for herself. Harry sighed deeply and focused entirely on wrapping the strings around his injury, feeling better than he'd like to admit with the extra help. He managed to create provisional protective layer, shielding the injury from further tearing and stopping large portion of the blood from dripping out. Meanwhile Tsidia started looking for Xashewski, quickly localizing his mind in the depths of the forest, and slowly moving in his direction.

Xasheski had paused, once the screaming had seized. He was now alone, in complete silence. Only the sound of his hesitant breathing could be heard. For a moment, he would remain in the forested area, his breath caught in his through, debating whether or not to return to the others. Slowly, he would extend a paw forward. He bit his lower lip, glancing forward with caution. What if someone had been killed? The scream had definitely sounded like something someone in pain would make.Again, he started to make his way forward, until he heard another scream, this one sounding even more strained than before.

These definitely sounded like screams of pain. Oh god, what should he do? He couldn't just stand around forever! What if what was out there came for him? Was there even anything out there? Something twisted aggressively at Xash's heart, as he started backing up. Would it be betrayal if he ran off? Xash had never been one for fighting. He could hardly do so. He was so weak, it was pathetic.

The screams eventually began to quiet down, until they vanished altogether. Xasheski was left alone in silence once more. He remained deathly quiet, his eyes narrowing in concentration. After a bit longer of silence, he would start to make his way forward, towards Tsidia and Harry, then he stopped. No, he had to be quiet. Wait, why was he even going to check on them? He barely knew them. And what if this was actually dangerous?

Well, if he stayed quiet, the assailant wouldn't find him, and then he could just look in, see if they were safe, and if they weren't, he'd make a run for it. Wait, why would that make him feel any better? He shook his head. No, he had to find out. He made his way back to the little camp.

Tsidia quietly sprinted through the forest, moving towards the nearest source of high brain activity, masking out any sounds to keep herself safe from any predators in the area she had currently no time for. She was starting to get worried about catching Xashewski when she crossed his path, stepping in front of him so he won't get away "Where have you been? Harry got hit in wings and you're our only chance." Of course the second part was a lie, but the situation was dramatic enough for this sort of wordplay. "It was an accident. Please, can you help us?", she added with more peace in her voice.

Even despite the possibility of danger, Xasheski still battled himself over what to do. Of course, due to his internal struggle, he might also leave up some unexpected limitations to his focus, which would lead to him to be unaware of his surroundings. At least, the ones that would allow him to pick up the smaller hints of noise. He would stand there, perfectly still, absent-mindedly digging his claws into the dirt, softly biting his lower lip. His wings were folded tightly by his side, as he debated flight. Surely, there was no dragon that could catch him if he decided to fly? Then again, that had been Shveki. He had no idea how much faster dragons adapted to living in and near the mountains were.

Then, Xasheski came to a decision. He nodded his head, telling himself that he needed to go check on the other two. Just a quick peek. They could be hurt, or worse, dead. Quietly, Xash would snap out of his dreamlike state, and started walking forward, keeping up a quiet jog. However, due to his unawareness of his surroundings, he hadn’t picked up the smell of the other dragoness, Tsidia, approaching him, nor had he heard her footsteps. He was quite shocked when she unexpectedly burst forth from a froth of tangled bushes.

He let out a quiet yelp, halting himself in his tracks, stopping just short of five feet from her. He fell onto his butt in surprise, his wings spreading defensively. When he realized it was only Tsidia, though, and she started speaking to him hurriedly, he was quiet for a moment, trying to take everything in. He would blink a moment, then slowly shake his head, and look up at her, surprised. So, Harry had been hurt. His guess had been correct. But how had his wing been hurt? That was the real question.

Deciding not to ask, Xasheski instead inquired, “Uh, sorry. I, um, heard the scream, and I wasn’t sure what happened,” he explained. He then looked apologetically down at his paws. “I, um, actually don’t have the medicine with me. I couldn’t find the bush I was looking for. Though, I can come back, if you think you’ll need me for anything,” he said, looking up again. He wasn’t sure what much use a dragon could get from him when he couldn’t even do the job he had set out to do in the first place.

Tsidia stood in place for a second, considering different options and possible outcomes. "If you think you can help him, come with me, if not, try to find help." Her determination was suddenly broken by a soft blush entering her face. "Well, you don't have to, you don't owe us anything I guess." Without waiting for reply she turned around and started heading back to wounded Harry. Meanwhile Harry was slowly reseting back to his regular mood. He slowly sat down and leaned closer to the fire, holding in another scream while readjusting strings to new position. He reached for his medication to calm down the pain when it felt out of his claws, accompanied by loud hiss. "YOU'RE NOT PASSING OUT ON ME FROM THIS POISON". Harry growled, but he couldn't afford any protests in his current state. Tsidia knew about that, and took great satisfaction from her dominant position. She crouched next to him and run a soft lick across his muzzle, trying to adjust her mind to his blurry thought process, so she could analyze his wounds. The thin layer of strings covering them was slowly soaking out blood.

For a moment, Xasheski was left frozen, unsure of what to do. How exactly could he help? Maybe he could keep looking for that plant he had said he would search for? That was one way. And they had been so nice to him. It was clear that they weren’t a threat to him. At least, they didn’t seem like a threat yet. You could honestly never know with these kinds of people. Extroverts, he meant. They were just so strange and bizarre compared to what he was used to. What he was used to, of course, being solitude, and dragons that wouldn’t approach you unless you approached them first. Being an introvert himself, though, the young night fury had barely run into any dragons he could consider friends. Especially not on Shevki, he thought, with a shiver.

Okay, he was not just going to sit here in silence. He had to do something to help! That was his final decision. He watched as Tsidia would run off, and slowly began following her, memorizing her scent so he would be able to meet up with her once he found the plant he was looking for. He wasn’t really chasing after her, just mildly trotting. He was mostly following her so he could get an idea of where he had come from, so he could head back when he needed to. He would watch as she quickly outran him, and disappeared into a haze of plants and trees up ahead. He let out a soft sigh, before averting his path.

He then began to search through the plants and bushes he passed, trying to remember what it smelled like so he could locate it by scent. Of course, when this didn’t work, he merely shook his head, and kept searching. His paws were starting to ache, having to dig through all these plants. Sure, his scales were tough, so the thorns didn’t really affect him, but bending down like this was tiring. But he wouldn’t have to keep this up for much longer, once he walked into a small clearing, and spotted a small, narrow plant near a closeby tree.

It was the one he was searching for! Quickly, he rushed over, and ripped off some leaves from the plant. He took the roots of the plant, as well, just in case, because from what he had read, they were both very helpful. He then quickly rushed back to where Tsidia and Harry were waiting. He paused, earth and pebbles skidding, when he saw how much pain Harry looked like he was in. He then quickly snapped out of it, and rushed over to see them.

“Harry! Tsidia!” he exclaimed, then stopped himself, and proceeded, becoming calmer and quieter, “I found the herb.” he said, walking over to Harry’s wing.

Harry sighed at the view of approaching dragon. "Make it quick", he called out and momentarily pushed the strings away, exposing the injury. The strings quickly turned red, filled with the pain he was going through. His vision blurred. Then he had an idea. Harry smiled and relaxed, letting the pain consume him from the inside. After few seconds his body fell limply to the ground. Tsidia quickly rushed in to make sure he wouldn't hurt himself more from the fall. "Clever. Very clever.", she said to herself and looked at Xashewski. "Don't worry about it. He just passed out"

Re: Return (Open)

Xasheski’s face was a contorted expression of fear and worry when he noticed the state that Harry was in. When he had first entered the clearing, he had been relieved to see that there wasn’t any big, scary dragons, waiting to pounce and gobble him up. But all of that relief had quickly gone down the drain when he had noticed the other dragon in pain. It appeared as though the injury on his wing had gotten significantly worse, as he was shivering and convulsing in agony by the time that Tsidia and, finally, Xasheski, had arrived at where he was. Just looking at the poor dragon that had been so kind to him, on the ground, in pain, made Xasheski’s heart twinge in guilt and fear, at the aspect that he had been going to abandon them.

He swallowed nervously, looking around. He then glanced up at Tsidia, watching her face with a mix of confusion and worry. He would hold tightly onto the herbs with his paws, afraid of letting go of them, and then letting them slip out of his grasp. What would happen if he lost them? Would Harry die? Would the herbs even work? He had never seen a dragon in this much pain before since…. Well, that wasn’t important. He had never really wanted to see a dragon in this much pain every again, and watching it just made him sick to his stomach. The only thing that didn’t make him pass out was the fact that Harry looked happy to see Tsidia and Xash, or at least relieved.

Xasheski would then speak to Tsidia, his voice coated with anxiety, “Great gods of Shveki, what happened, Tsidia? I mean, did something happen to him while I was gone? He wasn’t in this much pain when I left to go get the herbs. There wasn’t an attack, or anything, was there? Is he going to be okay? Are you sure these herbs will work? I mean, I’ve never actually really used them with serious injuries like this before,” the tiny night fury would lament, going into a frenzy of questions out of nervousness. He hadn’t dealt with very many situations like this in the past, so he wasn’t sure what to do. He was hoping Tsidia would have some answers.

Suddenly, Harry would pass out from the pain. Xash’s whole body went rigid when he noticed Harry’s expression seem to grow empty, and his body went limp. His wings spread out in fear, and his body froze up. He then rushed over to the bigger dragon, holding the herbs in his paw, as he frantically tried to chew them to a pump. As the herbs were in his mouth, he would fearfully yelp at Tsidia in a hurry. All of his senses felt like they had just been kicked into overdrive mode, and were now working at a much higher ferocity.

“Auuugh! Tsidia! What happened! Is he okay? Is he dead? Oh no, he can’t be dead! I’m too young to have that on my conscious!” Xasheski panicked, though he was probably hard to understand when he had the herbs in his mouth. He would gag on them a bit in his frenzy, quickly spitting the pulp out with a disgusted look on his face. They weren’t exactly the most tasty herbs. Sure, they smelled good, but their flavor was actually rather bitter, and left an awkward taste in your mouth when you were done with them. Luckily, there were more pressing things to take his mind off of the taste.

Quickly, Xasheski would apply the pulp to the area of the wing that had been injured. Due to his frenzy, he hadn’t really heard Tsidia when she had explained he had passed out. Nonetheless, Xasheski was very gentle with the wound, using one of his wings to help support it. Due to the shape of his wing, it served well as a sort of support, while he applied the herb. It was more of a painkiller than an actual thing to heal the wound, though it certainly helped. If Harry were still conscious, it would have stung for a bit, then the area would have felt numb, which would have helped in the healing of the wound. After all, if it were numb, the pain would be more bearable while they think of strategies they could use to actually cover up the wound so it wouldn’t hurt so much when the numbness eventually wore off. “Oh god, I hope this helps. Did he pass out?” Xasheski asked, showing how he obviously hadn’t heard Tsidia before.

Tsidia gently put Harry's head on the ground and slowly walked up to Xashewski. She pulled him to her chest and covered him with her wings, her tail wrapping around him. "It's okay. Harry was in a coma. His body isn't used to dealing with injures. He just passed out, that's all." She remembered what Harry usually did when she got out of control and pulled him gently to the ground with her, making him sit on her lap. She rested her claws on his chest and quietly purred in his ears, following rhythm of a peaceful melody. She would normally analyse Harry's body for any internal damage, but since he was unconscious that wouldn't be possible easy. She was worried, but certainly not scared. An injury of his wings couldn't be fatal, unless... a shiver run down her spine, as she quickly pushed the thought away. "Do you know exactly what that herb does?, she asked more than anything to calm Xash down.
