Abilities and Strengths


Abilities:
~She has the ability to turn into a shadow, however if an attack was aimed at her, she could take the damage.
~She has the ability to turn invisible, if an attack hit her…the damage would be the same. It makes her completely invisible, unable to be seen, but she can’t hold this for long and she also cannot go through things.
~She has the ability to mirror movements if she watches enough times (this is how she learned about more fighting moves)
~She fights with dark energy, but also with screeches and sounds. (Kind of like a bat)
~She is learning the ways of Holy fire, the type that is colored black or blue…a flame of shadows. She has no light in her anymore, but the fire returns when she returns to the underworld to gain new abilities to help Sonus.
~She uses her shadows to heal, shadow healing and such…however she knows about herbal medicines and uses this when she is too tired to push forward.

Fighting Style:
Being a wyvern wings, Silhouette’s preferred fighting style is done in the air. Despite that, she is also quite skilled on the ground as well. She attributes this to her talon-sharp claws on her feet. Though, there are more things she can use. Silhouette is a master of surprise, able to shift her physical shape into a shadow and move through shadows around her. However, the catch to this is the amount of energy that is used for her to activate this skill. It drains her, making her lethargic and even a bit disoriented. She can turn invisible as well, but all of her abilities of fighting are better in daylight…while her spying and teleportation skills are better under the cover of night. Her fighting style changes slightly with her learning the manipulation of blue-black fire when she ventures to the underworld to find a way to ease her sister’s plight.

Would she still remain in her shadow form if light were to be shined onto her? How long can she remain in this form?

What types of wounds can she heal? Minor wounds? Medium-sized wounds? Headache? Internal bleeding?

~She has the ability to turn into a shadow for about 15 minutes before it begins to drain her energy, however if an attack was aimed at her, she could take the damage.

~She has the ability to turn invisible for about 10 minutes before her form will flicker back into view, if an attack hit her…the damage would be the same. It makes her completely invisible, unable to be seen, but she can’t hold this for long and she also cannot go through things.

~She has the ability to mirror movements if she watches enough times (this is how she learned about more fighting moves)

~She fights with dark energy (Like a shadow ball or shadows that will rush to her aide when she uses her energy to bring them forth), but also with screeches and sounds. (Kind of like a bat)

~She is learning the ways of Hellfire, the type that is colored black or blue…a flame of shadows. She has no light in her anymore, but the fire returns when she returns to the underworld to gain new abilities to help Sonus. This fire is not as pure as holy fire, but it can revive the purity of someone's heart...if touched, bad intentions will be burned away if it is a villain, but other than that it is not more than merely a black version of normal fire with a slightly warmer temperature.

~She uses her shadows to heal, shadow healing and such…when able to use the shadows...Silhouette can heal the most serious injuries as long as she is physically able to handle the strain of her shadow powers. This is helpful, but she risks her own life doing that. However she knows about herbal medicines and uses this when she is too tired to push forward. When she is too tired, she cannot heal anything...and can barely fight...and that is when she uses the herbs to heal minor wounds.

Strengths:
~Intelligent: Silhouette is rather gifted from being in the Underworld for most of her life. It taught her many things and she is able to understand and read most languages...even the forbidden ones. She is also very gifted at logical puzzles and riddles, but that came just from Silhouette being Silhouette.

~Insightful: Silhouette is empathetic and can often tell when others are feeling off about something going on in their lives. Or even if they are sick or pregnant, a sensitive soul that takes things to heart...both a blessing and a curse. But, she often uses this insight to help others when they are too weak or too proud to ask for help. If she is close to the person...she can feel their presence stronger than if it were a stranger.

~Strong: Silhouette has to be strong in order to survive the oredeals of the Underworld. Her body and her mind were tortured in unimaginable ways. To become the keeper of shadows, she had to lose the part of her heart...and that is what made her a good shadow host. She was strong in spirit in that she didn't become a senseless drone, she was able to retain her normal personality through everything and came out rather kind and gentle.

~Independent

~Healing: Shadow healing works rather well, when you have the energy to complete it. It can heal internal and external injuries, but only for the amount of energy Silhouette has. This healing could easily kill her if she used it one too many times without a break.

~Spying: Her shadow abilities make her a rather good spy, however with the weaknesses and catches involved in shadow magic...this can be a blessing and a curse. If she has to spy for a little bit, or has breaks in between...then she is a rather effective spy.

~Holy Light: If she was ever attacked directy with it, it would kill her. Otherwise it is a power struggle of whom has more energy to keep up an onslaught.

~Light: Light does little physically to her, but it drains the strength of her powers.

She is a Urban Brimstone Inferno dragon, like her sister Sonus Decessus. However, due to her no longer having any fire in her whatsoever, a breed she became was one called an “Ebony Nyghtshade”. All of the traits of the wyvern are the same, but she does not possess the fire that her sister does, and therefore is not affected by “Holy Fire”.

Age:

Physically she appears to be about 900 years in age, as she grew in the Underworld. Mentally, Silhouette is a bit younger than her physical age…but she is able to catch up rather fast with natural maturing and her maternal instincts.

Date of Birth:
Silhouette was not born, at least not in the typical sense. She was “physically brought back to the world of the living” in the darkest nights of December, however…the date is unknown to her.

Personality:
Silhouette is the enigma of a shadow. Her personality is rather shy, soft-spoken, passive, and gentle. She is a protector rather than a fighter, but when angered…she is a formidable foe. Due to her years in the Underworld, Silhouette is almost a baby in her knowledge of the world and the things that reside in it, but…she is also a quick learner and is eager to prove that she is worthy of the life she was deprived of for so long.

Another note to make about Silhouette is the fact that though she lacks the ability to produce fire, the female has a heart of gold and will do anything and everything to help those she knows and doesn’t know.

Like her sister, Sonus, Silhouette is very keen to learn new things and enjoys nothing more than being around her friends and family. Since her time in the underworld has traumatized her from the mental and physical torture that she was subjected to…to make her become the perfect vessel of the shadows…this is what makes her withdrawn, yet affectionate all at the same time.

Silhouette used to live alone, but she soon had to find a place to settle and raise her daughter, Senka. She did this wherever she could find a safe place that would not harm her, nor her daughter. Upon finding Sonus again, Silhouette now lives where Sonus is…or is near.

Senka, a young dark dragoness, is her adopted daughter.
History:
Silhouette was born the younger twin of Sonus Decessus, however…something happened to her while she was inside the egg that resided beside Sonus’s. It was a parasitic reaction of sorts, Sonus’s fire body leeched all of the flame inside of Silhouette out of her body. This stripped Silhouette of fire and her life, so she may have hatched by their parents physically breaking her egg…but she was not alive. Silhouette was a stillborn, dead at birth. Physically at least, but her soul and her mind were ever so alive…and they did live as her form was taken to the underworld. There she became the opposite of light, the epitome of darkness. To get to this point, the beings of the underworld tortured her mind, body, and soul…forcing the once bright dragoness’s heart to turn black. After she was too strong with her powers to continue being in the Underworld, the female broke free from the bindings that held her and soon realized that through her own strength, she was now alive. Living at the age she was meant to be…or at least physically.
She traveled in hiding, only coming out to fish or to fight…other than that, she was fearful of the outside world…never having been part of it. She has seen those around, things like love…joy…hope…all of those things make her want to continue living in this realm. Her sister and her child are her sole reasons for remaining in this realm, if not for them…then she would not want to feel all of the things that her now beating heart feels. Her personality changes when, to ensure her sister’s happiness with someone who loves her…forces Silhouette to make the choice to return to the place that she fears more than anything in the world and look for the secrets to her sister’s cure. The Underworld makes her numb, mute, even withdrawn from all around her. She has been there before, and fears it more than anything, but her love for her daughter and her sister is too great for her to let that stop her from trying to ensure the happiness of everyone around her.

Physical Appearance and Accessories

Scale/Fur/Feathers:
Like most darkness dragons, Silhouette’s scales are dark colored. However, what most won’t see unless they are closer is that the miniscule designs on her scales will change with the nighttime sky. Constellations, planets, the moon…everything in the Solar system where Silhouette stands is reflected in her ebony scales. However, because of this…her scales aren’t black, like originally thought…for they can have navy, purple, and whatever is being reflected in them. It truly is a sight to see when she flies through the air, though at night…she is almost invisible unless one was specifically looking for her closely.

Eyes:
Silhouette’s eyes are rather unusual…like Sonus, she has one eye that is one color and another eye that is another color. This is another way for others on the outside to see that they are siblings. Her left eye is silver, almost the exact shade of a full moon on a winter’s night. Her right eye is a shade of brilliant blue and both of them radiate light when she is happy, contrary to her dark exterior.

Horns/Spikes:
Silhouette looks pretty typical of a wyvern. However, there are no horns but spikes that go along her head, and down to the tail. These are rather sharp, hence why no one would dare ride her…these sharp spines would break through any saddle and leave the rider with a puncture wound. The spines on her tail will flare out when she is angered, making a spiked weapon that she can shoot spines from, like a porcupine.

Silhouette's eyes, when she shifts into a shadow will often glow for a moment before she becomes almost like a ghost. Her shifting into a shadow looks like a black ghost, for beat description.

Abilities:

Change minutes to number of posts. And as for invisibility, when she turns invisible, does it mean even her shadow is invisible? Will the other dragon be able to feel her if they touched her?

Turning into a shadow- How does this work? Does she use shadows from her surroundings, or can she just somehow magically turn into a shadow?

Holy Fire- How much warmer is it than the normal fire? And I'm sorry, but I don't think I can let your 'burn away evilness if touches the fire' thingy pass. Change it

Shadow healing- You mentioned 'healing' in Silhouette's strength section - 'cut' the details and paste it here.

Strengths:

Insightful, and independent - These are more of personality traits. So throw them into your personality section...unless you still consider strengths? If so, elaborate. How are they strengths?

Weaknesses:

You need more of those ;3; Silhouette has so many shadow abilities, and so many strengths, but only a few weaknesses. So add more, 3 or 4 at least.
