Lamina, Wielder of Wind And Ice

Personality and the Basics


Name: Larmina
Gender: Female
Type: Western
Species: 70% Nordic Wyvern, 30% Wind Dragon
Age: 15
Date of Birth: December 25th
Personality: Larmina is rarely seen smiling. She's a reserved young female, putting up a facade of 'strong and silent.' Despite her young age, she has a sharp mind and an even sharper tongue, often releasing sarcastic remarks in the middle of conversations. She has little to no respect for authority and comes off as incredibly moody and cheeky to older dragons.

However, once you get past her walls, you'll find a friend in Larmina. She's a compassionate and fun-loving dragon, playful and funny. She has a heart of gold, tucked away beneath the layers she puts up around it to keep herself from harm. Having had military habits drilled into her brain, she comes off as incredibly formal in moments of content, and will flinch at the lightest touch. However, she tries her best to be kind to those she cares for.

She has a soft spot for younger dragons and dragons who struggle with day-to-day life, such as old reptiles missing limbs or one who is blind. One of Larmina's weaknesses is actually being lured into traps involving injured dragons. She is also rather vain.

Hobbies: Larmina enjoys practicing magic and acrobatics in the air. She also enjoys studying sea life.
Likes: Larmina enjoys her own company, but also receives joy out of helping others, even if she hides it. She enjoys flying in the rain. She adores being clean, and will spend lots of time preening.
Dislikes: Larmina despises being dirty, and can't stand arrogant or pompous dragons. She has many pet peeves, one of which is improper grammer. She also dislikes humid temperatures.
Fears: Larmina is deathly afraid of being betrayed or letting those she loves down. She has a fear of fire, as in, morbid fear.

Physical Appearance and Accessories


Height: 18 feet
Length: 20 feet
Wingspan: 40 feet
Scale/Fur/Feathers: Larmina has deep blue scales, the color of the ocean, with flecks of silver and turquoise lining each scale. She has silver plates lining her chest and underside, offering light protection against attacks. She has a blue mane, fluffy and soft, that starts between her horns and ends at the base of her tail.
Eyes: She has cerulean eyes.
Accessories: She wears a silver bracelet etched with blue letters spelling her name out.
Armor: No.
Horns/Spikes: Azora has four main horns, silvery grey at the tips. The two big horns sit normally on top of her head, the other two are smaller and sit on the inside of her chin. She has more small spikes lining either side of her mane as well as beneath her chin to protect her throat.

Abilities and Strengths


Abilities: She can wield wind and ice. Description in magic.
Strengths: Azora is smart and capable of looking after herself.

She's a fast flyer (60 mph tops).

She's an exceptionally powerful magic user for her age, and is very knowledgable on the subject.

She has a resistance to cold, able to withstand temperatures up to -50C.

Weaknesses: Azora's main weakness is her strength. She is not physically strong and can easily be overpowered.

Her small size means it will take only a few solid hits to knock her out.

Another weakness is her bone structure, she appears sturdy, but she is very brittle, bones easily shattering under heavy pressure.

Another problem is her reliance on magic. Without it, she's useless in a fight. She can't fight for toffee without her spells, being a terrible close up combatant.

She's not very accurate with her spikes or her breath attack.
Fighting Style: Larmina is a magic wielder, preferring to dart around her enemies and let magic do the work for her.
Magic:

WindWaves: With a wave of her talons, Larmina can send gusts of wind at a target (80 mph winds) to try and blow them off balance. She can only do this twice in a thread.

Ice Spikes: With a lash of her tail, she can send 5 inch long spikes, sharply tipped, at her opponent. They can pierce soft skin but will pounce off hard scales. She can use up to 15 in a topic.

Breath Attack: She can breathe white fire that freezes rather then burns (-70 Celcius). Her breath attack takes on the texture and overall appearance of fire, but it's a chilling substance.

Ice Shield: When Larmina flexes her talons, she can form a shield of ice around herself and anything she chooses that doesn't exceed a height of fifty feet. This can't withstand more than a few powerful hits, and she has to concentrate solely on it to keep it up. When it shatters, she can't use it again for another two topic pages.

Removed WIP from title.

Is the overall appearance meant to be blank?

Ice spikes - I'm going to assume that she has spikes on her tail. Does she have an unlimited supply of these?

Breath attack - I don't believe -70 celsius causes only eye discomfort and stinging... Is it like gas, able to be easily waved away?

What does her white fire do, does it just freeze? That's all? (keep in mind -70 degrees Celsius is very low) Also, how far can it reach?

Ice shield - you say she can form it around someone/thing else, but how far before it's out of her range?
