Personality and the Basics

Name: Artemisa Rynnuria.
Gender: Female.
Type: Western dragon.
Species: Carisa Mondoriuh - Western dragons known for their ability to manipulate ice and snow and withstand subzero temperatures.
Age: 440
Date of Birth: February 18.
Personality: Personality-wise, Artemisa is the virtual opposite of Artemise, and is loath to share even the smallest similarity with the latter; she strives to erase any resemblance between them, but is fine with her appearance, thank you very much. She is not exactly evil, because Artemise isn't wholly good, and no one is explicitly good or evil anyway; but she is cruel and hateful and cunning, and she revels in being the villain. She does not care for acts of good, seeing them as pretentious and hiding a selfish motive to ease one's conscience, and if there is one thing, Artemisa is honest: You look ugly? She'll say it. You hate her afterwards? No problem, she'll return the favour and make your life hell, because why not? She uses brute force to get what she wants, rarely bothering with using words, but is still sufficiently proficient in it. Typically, her wordplay is reserved for when she flirts or toys with someone. She is highly ambitious and confident, lacking any if any insecurities or weakness in personality. She does not have a wall to hide behind, because she is the wall, as impenetrable as anyone can be. But like everyone, she has her own weaknesses, even if she passes it off as a strength.
Hobbies: Artemisa spends most of her time roaming Nuira; no, not for the scenery, but rather in search of an adventure. Define that however you will. She also enjoys, oddly enough, stargazing.
Likes: Being very combative and violent, she loves fighting, and doesn't mind the pain or wounds that come along with it. She can be bleeding all over - and grin at you and come back with twice the force. She also enjoys the feeling of danger, oddly enough, feeling that it is fun. Lastly she enjoys sowing discord with wordplay and lies, and loves watching the chaos that ensues after, though she can also appreciate silence, often found stargazing in a quiet place.
Dislikes: She dislikes, very intensely, having her fun ruined, and dragons who are so thickheaded that her words don't work on them. She loathes feeling powerless or inferior as well. She despises Artemise too, any mention of the latter easily agitating her, as well as being interrupted, whether in the middle of a conversation, a battle, or stargazing.
Fears: Secretly she fears Artemise, having always been controlled by her. She is also afraid of losing her physical form, because being stuck in the prison of Artemise's mind had been torturous enough, and she doesn't want to repeat that again.

Origin, Culture, and Family

Place of Origin: The Iceilo Region
Tribe: Rogue for now, may join the Ki'sha.
Position: A proud Wanderer.
Language: Universal; proficient Ki'Shin and Xoyan learned from travelling with someone who she eventually killed; the flashing markings of Aquatic (but not the bubbles, not yet)
Home: She has no home. She just... Sorta wanders around, as her self-appointed role suggests.
Parents: Dead.
Siblings: Artemise isn't exactly a sibling, and she was an only child as stated in her app.
Relatives: She doesn't know of any.
Mate: Artemisa doesn't want one.
Offspring: N/A
History: Long story short... Artemise's parents decided experimenting on her mind was a good idea, accidentally creating a new personality in her in the process. Eventually they split with the help of Ardent.

Physical Appearance and Accessories

Height: She's slightly shorter than Artemise, standing at 83ft tall.
Length: 108ft.
Wingspan: 216ft.
Scale/Fur/Feathers: Diamond-shaped scales that are sky blue in colour. They interlock so well that they're invisible unless one looks at it really closely.
Eyes: Midnight blue, but with slitted pupils, and a very thin, almost unnoticeable ring of electric blue around her pupils.
Accessories: She finds them... Cumbersome.
Armor: She can defend herself well enough without them.
Horns/Spikes: Two white horns protruding from the back of her head, and midnight blue spines starting from her neck and ending at her tail.
Overall Appearance: Refer to image.
*Note that her spikes are capable of limited movement, like standing straight up or lying flat against each other. The ones on her tail, however, can be detached and thrown. More will be talked about it later.

What she looks like (drawn by Wispedheart on DA):

Abilities and Strengths

Abilities: Despite sharing the same face and body with her 'captor', Artemisa possesses a different set of abilities, manifested by her personality. Most of her abilities come in the form of white mist:

- Tail spikes
Unlike Artemise, her ten tail spikes can be detached and thrown up to 600ft away from herself with a quick, flicking movement. Fast moving and travelling in a straight line unless blown away or deflected, they have deadly sharpness, as well as a little hole in its tip that injects an icy cold substance the moment it breaks through skin.

This transparent substance produces a pins-and-needles effect, as well as a bone-chilling sensation, that covers a radius of 5cm all around away from where the spike has struck. However, if three or more spikes land within a 5cm radius of each other, the aftereffect will not be limited to pins and needles; in addition to that, the cold sensation felt by the affected area will intensify until it's almost searing, but will do no damage besides forming a light layer of frost, causing sore and aching muscles, and slowing down the limbs (if that is where the spikes have landed.)

Consistent exposure to fire for one post can easily counteract this effect. Removing the spike does not do anything. Quite hard to blow away. Cooldown: Each spike takes two full posts to regenerate.

- Presence Awareness
Note: A conscious effort.
She can sense the presence of dragons 300ft away from her, and can determine (roughly) how close they are to her and their size, but not who they are or what they're doing.

- Ice Arrows
This ability can be very startling, as little ice arrows the length of her forearm can appear all around her in the blink of an eye. She can form fifteen at one time, and, like her tail spikes, contains a white substance that causes the same effects as those in the tail spikes. Unlike her tail spikes, however, these can tail an opponent if she wishes it, but only if the target is within her line of vision when the arrows are released. It is also possible for her arrows to simply travel in a straight line, which she switches their 'mode' to once her target is out of sight. They don't stop unless they've travelled 600ft maximum, where they dissipate, or are melted, or has buried itself into something (e.g the ground).

Cooldown: Takes two full posts to form each arrow. Has the same vulnerability to fire, and can be blown away by wind, but are slightly heavier than the average arrow, meaning it hits hard.

- Ice Manacles
Inspired by her 'imprisonment' of sorts, she can exhale almost unnoticeable white mist from her nose or mouth that moves swiftly towards a willed target. It wraps around the wrists and ankles, and solidifies to form ice manacles that are not only uncomfortably cold but heavy. They take half of the enemy's post to form, but can be blown away in the process. Melted by fire, removed by hitting it consistently or waiting for three of my posts, where they will break, fall off and dissipate. Cooldown: Three between each usage of this ability, so she can use this on my fourth post.

- Ice Rings
She can form what look like rings at the tips and claws of her wings, as well as her tail. Similar to her ice manacles, they are white and so translucent they're almost transparent, and when catches the light looks a bit like dust. However, they are deadly, and can solidify into ice blades within half a post, and Artemisa hurls them at someone. They can reach 550ft max (hey, she's 108ft long... XD It's like, five and a half of her, and that isn't even very far), before circling back like a boomerang. Its motion will be stopped if it cuts into an enemy, and will stay there until it is dislodged. Like a weapon, it can cause large gashes, and produce an uncomfortably cold sensation around the affected area (cold =/= numb).

How the cooldown works is slightly more complicated than just the usage of the ability, but rather where she forms it at, as its size and number is affected by its location. Because the four (two on the outermost end of each wing) rings are massive, reaching 15ft in diameter, they take three posts between each usage to form, and are slightly slower than the smaller ones (reaching a maximum of 75mph). The smaller kind can be found around her wing claws and tail end. Two above the former, five encircling her tail (the spikes at which flatten to make space). They are only 10ft in diameter, and move significantly faster, at 90mph, and takes two full posts to form, meaning Arta can use them on my third post or at the end of my second.

She can throw them individually, or all at once. They dissipate immediately after returning to where they were originally produced.
Strengths:
- She is quite sensitive to the presence of other dragons. It's quite hard to escape her attention unless you're 50 ft or further from her.
-  The default strength of her species: Withstanding subzero temperatures with minimal effort. Even cold water doesn't faze her.
- Very accurate with her shots.
Weaknesses:
- Artemisa also tends to forget to look behind her.
- Her bigger size means a bigger surface area exposed to attacks.
- Fire.
- Wrist bones are very fragile... Easily snapped.
Fighting Style: Vicious, brutal and unrelenting. Artemisa is also quite unpredictable, with no fixed style.
Magic:
- Snow
She can cause a light snow to happen within a radius of 500ft around her. This is one of her more peaceful abilities, one that she rarely uses, and can last for five posts maximum, with three full posts cooldown before she can use this magic skill again.

Cause I never approve you first time around <3

How fast do the arrows travel?

A minor thing, but how is she aware of dragon's presence as a strength, yet a weakness is being behind her?
Also, how is removing tail spikes a weakness? The payload would have already been delivered, no?

Didn't I say in Discord that all her projectiles were dodgeable? Lmao ((not including the speed to prevent complicating matters lol))

Arta's awareness of others' presences is a conscious effort. So in the middle of battle, when she's distracted and looking forward, not backward, then... Yeah.

As for the third paragraph, just picture this: Her tail is trapped in a small space, or pinned to the ground. Remember that she needs a flicking motion to throw the spikes, so in this scenario her tail spikes ability will be rendered completely useless. And as a bonus, if you're pinning her tail, you can easily remove them, which means she's deprived of this ability.... And, she can't use this ability til the spikes re-grow, and. It's simple, yeah? Razz

1) Doesn't mention how fast they mooooove. You could dodge a bullet, but the speed makes it highly improbable if that makes sense
2) k
3) That's like saying if you cover somone's eyes they can't see as a weakness, or by pinning their arm they can't punch you...

1) I'd rather not put a speed, lol. It complicates things, and we'd spend forever discussing the friggin thing. XD

As for the bullet comparison, I understand where you're coming from, but I'm not so ridiculous as to abuse it like that. Just imagine a book being thrown at you but slightly faster, is that okay?

3) You can't really compare pinning her tail to trapping someone's arm, because removing her spikes is like removing the fist. Once released she can't do much with her tail ... unlike the fist ... but okay, I'll change it.

> Weakness has been changed to: Fragile wrist bones.

I made her sensing thing into an ability, since it's a conscious effort. (Reaches 300ft... Which is like only three of her.) Removed agility as well.
