Athena puts up a front of; you either get to the point or get out of her face. She is very direct and speaks very little, preferring to observe than broadcast her opinion. She has no patience for fancy words and exquisite parties. If you want to talk to her, charming her isn’t going to A; work, and B; make her like you anymore than she wants to. She’s cold and distrusting, coming off as rude and dismissive of other dragons. She’s got a hard, titanium shell around her heart, only a couple of dragons have seen the softer side of her. She’ll be professional and respectful to most dragons, but she’ll treat you how you treat her. Sharp tongued and short tempered, she is more than happy to hit you in the face for insulting her. She’s not arrogant, but she has a pride to maintain, meaning she won’t do embarrassing or stupid things unless someone like Storm begged her to. She’s as hard as a glacier and as a dry as a desert.


Inside the battle hardened, mean walls of her outer shell, Athena is a protective, gentle and caring friend. Loyal and courageous, she would do anything to keep her friends safe. She is often the giver of ‘tough love,’ but anything she does is usually to protect or look after those she cares about. She’ll listen to you, stay to guard you from nightmares by your bedside, anything you need; she’ll provide it. She’s a bit of a jokester and is very playful and sarcastic with her pals. Although socially incapable and sporting a bad attitude, she’s the best friend you could ever hope to have.

Hobbies: Athena spends most of her time sparring and reading about animals. She also enjoys star-gazing and practicing aerial acrobatics.

Likes: Athena is highly competitive. She loves to win, especially in spars. She enjoys a good rough and tumble, but also enjoys a quiet night under the sky, star-gazing. She has a secret love for animals. She enjoys her own company.

Dislikes:

Athena loathes boredom. If you sit her in a blank room with nothing to do or look at she'll slowly lose her sanity. She prefers to be doing things, be it sparring, battling or flying. When the rush of adrenaline isn't there, she tends to be grumpy.

Athena dislikes boring dragons, dragons who have nothing to say or add to a conversation, if there's one to be had. She hates pompous dragons.

Athena hates loud, repetitive noises. They irritate her and will probably cause her to maul someone.

Fears:

Athena has an irrational fear of eels. Sea-snakes are fine, it's just the eels that frighten her. She hates the way they move and slither.

She also has a fear of fire. Around campfires and the like, she's fine, she's not outright afraid of flames. However, she is more cautious around fire-based Dragons and large flames, having a particular weakness to it.

She fears becoming the monster she's trying to kill...

Armor:
Horns/Spikes: Athena has blue horns, four of them, one set smaller then the other that rest on the back of her chin, the other sits normally on the back of her head, moving in a lightning bolt shape as they move upwards. The right horn is broken in half.
Overall Appearance:

She is a white wyvern with an almost masculine body. She is very muscular and sturdily built. Many scars mark her body. She has a pair of horns, one of which is broken, branching out from the back of her head. The undersides of her wings are pale blue, whereas the top sides are white. She has royal blue eyes and cerulean plates line her forehead. Another set of blue plates protect her throat and stomach. A line of electric blue feathers run down her spine, ending where her tailspikes begin. Her tail has two blades protruding from the end, a few inches thick and pointing behind her, forming the shape of a trident.

Some of her prominent scars are the serious burn marks that have left black patches on her legs. Another is the two clawed mark scarring her left eye. Some of the uglier ones are the marks running down her back. Large, ugly, dark grey gashes running down either side of her feathers, given to her when a dragon slammed into her from above and tore the flesh from her back. The right side of her neck is also marred, with a smaller burn  and some bite marks. Her wings are torn up as well, the edges ragged and discoloured.



Abilities:

Ice Spikes;

 Around a quarter of the way down her tail, one will notice a set of gleaming, spear-like spikes protruding from Athena’s hide. They are a dull blue when not in use, but when she’s getting ready to fire them, they glow almost white, and intricate markings glow on their bodies. These are projectiles that can pierce flesh, sever ropes and knock out teeth. While attached to her body, these spikes are only a metre or so in length until Athena fires them, at which point they will extend to their full length.

This ability has a range of 160 feet. The spikes have a temperature of -10 degrees. They are each around four metres long when they are fully extended.

When fired, the Ice Spikes move at 50mph and can be dodged by dragons with quick reflexes. When they hit a dragon, it’s like being pierced by a titanium spear. Hard, fast, and painful. Each spike is four metres long when extended and very sharp at the tips. They will lodge in your body and stay there until you pull them out.
That’s not all. These spikes make the affected area of your body feel numb as well as sore. They make legs feel stiff and wings feel heavy. It’s not lethal, it’s just the cold temperature from the spikes chilling your veins and muscle tissue, so it won’t knock you out of the sky or anything, but it causes a lot of discomfort.


Weaknesses;
-The spikes are limited, regrown over a period of one full topic page. Athena can fire up to thirty before the magic runs out and they stop instantly regenerating.
-They can be deflected by wind, magic and even melted in the air by fire. Once released from her tail, they work like arrows until they hit their target.
-The numbing side effect decreases in strength the farther the spike has to travel, until only a light chill will come from that area. The pain from the spike itself will still be the same though.

Ice Beam;

Athena can fire a beam of white light that can freeze objects into statues of ice. Trees, rocks, water, anything it touches will turn to ice.

This ability has a range of 200 feet. It has a temperature of -100 celcius.
The effects of her Ice Beam weaken the further it goes from Athena’s mouth. So objects within fifty feet of her, such as small animals, trees, etc will be frozen solid. At 100-150 feet, the objects stated previously will be covered in heavy frost and will have their movements restricted. At 200 feet, a light frost will settle over all objects touched.

As for dragons and other large creatures, at 200 feet, they will feel a serious chill rush down their spines, this will really let them know not to be hit directly by this attack. If you're around 100-150 feet away, it will feel like a harsh, stinging frost is settling over your body and causes a lot of discomfort, but not damage. If you’re directly in front of Athena, within 70 feet of her, limbs will be numbed and frozen if a direct hit is managed. The limb will be useless for a total of two posts unless the dragon has a high body temperature or smashes the limb against a hard object to shatter the ice. If it gets in your eyes, temporary blindness will be an issue, lasting for one post in total.  If it goes down your throat, it can stop any breath attacks from coming through, by this lasts only for a few seconds (one post) before the ice melts into harmless droplets of water. Still, it is INCREDIBLY sore.


Weaknesses;

-The effects of the Ice Beam get weaker the farther goes from Athena’s mouth
-The effects get weaker the longer she uses it. Using it in short blasts will keep it at full strength for longer, but if she fires the Ice Beam for a long period of time, more than a few seconds, it will start to weaken to the point where it won’t do much damage to objects in front of her face. (its power will reduce over a period of six posts)
-Unlike fire breathing dragons or dragons that shoot lightning, Athena’s Ice Beam is very precise to the point where it’s almost like using a laser gun. It can only hit small spots at a time, so it’s easy to miss moving targets and very hard to hit limbs.
-If it’s frozen the surface of a lake or an environment, the effects will clear away after half an hour. It just freezes trees, bushes etc in a sort of coma state.


Crystal Breath:

When Athena breathes this mist on the ground, blue, green, purple and white crystals, each about the width of her back paw, will grow from the ground. These crystals pulse with light and energy and chill anyone to the touch. Athena can make sculptures, write, anything she wants with these guys. They are quite sharp, but they aren't exactly a means of offence. They're used for healing and bringing light. If she grows the crystals on or inside the wounds of a creature, the crystals will form a protective coat over the wound at her bidding, providing bridges for nerves to reconnect and the like, and help the dragon to heal. It's totally harmless; unless you prick yourself.

Shield;

When she needs to use this purely defensive ability, Athena can raise her wings and slam them down on the ground, and a wall of ice will shoot up from the ground to protect her against attacks. This ‘shield’ resembles a glowing blue, crystal ‘igloo’ that shimmers with strange and intricate patterns similar to her spikes.
This shield can be placed around herself or around other dragons. The shield has an area of 50 metres when she makes it into a full circle, and then it’s seventy metres long when she makes it into a semi circle.
The shields are strong, able to withstand a few strong attacks before they shatter and disappear. Their strength can vary depending on Athena’s energy levels. If she is at full strength and in a healthy, undisturbed mindset, the shields can last up to three posts under frequent battering, but an especially strong attack, or even an average fire attack, will weaken them a lot faster. She has to be concentrating solely on the shields to keep them running, and she can only use them twice before she has to wait two full thread pages to use them again.

Athena can place a shield around a dragon that’s within thirty metres of herself. She can make the shield a full dome around a smaller dragon, but if it’s a dragon that’s longer than fifty metres and taller than sixty, she’ll be forced to make it into a semi circle, which can only protect the side of the dragon she chooses to protect.


Weaknesses;

-She can only have one shield up at a time
-She has to concentrate solely on the shields, or else they will shatter and break
-They are especially weak to fire attacks
-The semi circle shields can only protect one side of the target, be it Athena or the area or dragon she’s defending.

Levitation;

 Athena can levitate objects.

She can levitate objects within twenty metres of her head. Depending on the weight and size of the objects, she can levitate up to ten things. Small things, obviously.

The largest objects she can weigh are things that weigh as much as pine trees. Anything that weighs as much as a pine tree she can only levitate one of.
Athena can hurl these objects are 40mph towards a target.

Weaknesses;

-The faster and higher she makes them go, the more exhausted she becomes.
-She can only throw objects up to twenty metres away.
-Levitating objects, especially large ones, for long will make Athena dizzy, nauseous and eventually make her pass out. If she holds something that weighs as much as a pine tree for more than two posts, she will lose consciousness.
-She can only levitate non animal objects, so this means no floating dragons.


Strengths:

Aim: Athena has terrific aim with her spikes, and can pull off hitting very small targets.

Intelligence: Athena is very, very intelligent when it comes to battle strategies. Having experience in the field, she has great judging skills when it comes to the movements of the enemy. If you want to plan an attack, she's your gal.

Fighting abilities: She's an incredible fighter, able to take on several opponents at once and fight comfortably. Years of experience have led her to having stamina and strength in battle, learning how to intimidate foes and judge their movements. She has the temper of an angry bull, and can fight like one.

Reflexes: Athena has terrific reflexes, practically able to catch a projectile midair. It's very difficult to catch her off guard.

Mental Strength: Athena has a very strong mind. She's exceptional at withstanding mental attacks, having trained her mind since she was sixteen. It's nearly impossible to torture or attack her mind because she can differentiate reality from illusions with far more ease than others. It's her last line of defence and she intends to keep it strong.  

Weaknesses:


Bad Temper: Athena has a very short temper, meaning she is more likely to lash out at others then most, or to snap or make snide comments. She will attack without a second thought, especially if she is taunted or if somebody hits a nerve in her emotional side. This can lead to bad decisions in battle, impulsive moves that can cost her a potential winning attack.

Speed: Athena has less speed then she has strength. She can reach 40mph, tops.

Maneuverability; Athena has large, broad wings built for soaring, not for darting through the air. Much like an Albatross, she needs a running start to fly.

Magic: Magical attacks will have worse effects on her than other dragons. She's weak to any sort of magic bar attacks on her mind.

Her Loved Ones; Athena would die in a heartbeat for her best friend, her mate or anybody else she cares for. It's easy to break her by hurting the ones she cares for. She'll do anything to save them, so if you want to get to her, your best weapons are the dragons she loves.

Fire: While other elements will still hurt, Athena is exceptionally weak to fire. It will take less time for any fire-related abilities to use their effects on her, and they will do worse damage than normal.


Fighting Style:
Athena is a ground combatant mainly, but can adjust her style. She can zip about in the air firing ice and spikes at her target, but she prefers to go in and dig her fangs into someone's neck.

Athena is brutal in short ranged combat. She will tear, slash, bite, gnaw, claw, do whatever she can to get her opponent on the ground. She can duck, swerve, lean sharply, whatever she needs to do to win a fight. However, this leaves her more open to attacks and less reaction time then a long ranged dragon.
Magic: Athena can use magic, but she uses it very little. She uses tiny bits to speed up the regrowth of her spikes, but ninety nine percent of it is channeled into her Deeogon Form.


While in this form Athena becomes quite powerful.

Energy Breath: Athena can grow even bigger crystals out of the ground, reaching up to twenty metres high. These ones glow with magic. They grow faster than her normal crystals, practically shooting up from the ground. They're very sharp, easy to prick yourself on. Getting impaled would be... unpleasant, to say the least. (Think of the Bewilderbeast's Ice Breath from 'How To Train Your Dragon 2')

Weaknesses; it's easy to spot where they're going to grow from next, as the ground will glow bright blue and you will hear the sharp ringing noise.

Crystal Armour: Athena gains shimmering scales made out of crystal. They are hard as rocks and sharp as blades. They are blinding in direct sunlight. They are strong and can withstand physical and cold based attacks better than her normal scales can.

Glacier Clasp: Athena, when she clasps her wings together and then opens them, can send a wall of ice in all directions, stopping larger dragons in their tracks and causing smaller ones to stumble. This can reach dragons up to thirty metres away. The ice will shatter on contact, raining shards down on the dragons it touches, potentially cutting them.


Extra strength: Athena becomes nearly twice as strong in this form. She can hurl dragons against the wall and shatter bones scarily easy. Of course, she has to catch the dragons, first.



Weaknesses:

Limited Amount of Time: At the maximum, Athena can last in this form for about 5 minutes (4 posts)

Energy Cost: When she switches back, Athena will pass out due to the massive amount of magic being used.

Loses Her Sanity: Athena only shifts into this form when she's angry, in agony or in grieving. She loses control and cannot think for herself. She will kill anything that moves. Anything. She cannot distinguish friend from foe. It would take some awe inspiring words from a friend to gently coax her out of this state. Otherwise, it's highly recommended to run in the opposite direction.

Forced Shifting: Athena, in times of great stress and rage, will be forced to shift, as her Deeogon Form is a form of anger and loss of sanity. This can cause damage to her, such as amnesia and physical and mental weakness for several days. She can also be forced to shift by use of magic. By this I mean, if somebody went in and messed around with her mental state or just in general her brain, this can also force her to shift.

One Use: She can only use this once every five in-rp weeks.

Confusion: Athena loses all sense of coordination. When in this form she has no fighting style, only; kill, kill, kill. This can make it easy to outsmart her. She will for go anything that breathes.

Height: The biggest a wyvern can be is 90 feet.
Language: Ku'za isn't a language.

Abilities:

Ice spikes: -120C is very cold even by dragon standards. I'm pretty sure its effects would be much more severe than the ones that was stated in your app, but never mind that. I suggest removing it, along with the speed, unless there's something special about either. Leave the effects there and you're good.

Ice breath: Like for the ice spikes, remove the temperature.
Temporary blindness lasting up to two posts is way too long, please shorten this.

How much weaker does the breath get with distance? E.G 2x weaker with 50 feet, etc. "So objects within fifty feet of her, such as small animals, trees, etc will be frozen solid. At 200 feet metres (which?), a light frost will settle over all objects touched." doesn't quite answer it because what happens to those 100 feet in front of her? Same goes for the second weakness stated. How many is "few seconds"?

Due to the sheer strength of this ability, please add a limitation to the number of times she can use this.

Crystal breath: How many of these can she make, and what's the biggest?

Shield: How tall can these be? And... You realise that if she makes these three times in a row and they last for five posts each, they can protect dragons for fifteen posts straight, right? Please change this.

Weaknesses: Can you add a physical weakness on her body that can be exploited by everyone? Because water isn't always available, not everyone has fire, there are those who don't taunt their opponents, and not everyone is good at aerial combat.

Deeogon form:
4 posts--yours or everyone's?

Forced shifting doesn't really seem like a weakness to me. I don't think anyone'd try to provoke her to make her into this giant angry dragon that could kill them. xD
