Status of Tribe Ki'Sha (Saiya) Empty Status of Tribe Ki'Sha (Saiya)

Post by Saiya on Sun Mar 10, 2019 8:34 am

The Ki'Sha
To be Ki'Sha was to be as fierce and independent as wind upon the desert. No amount of upheaval could be allowed to stain an individuals duty to their tribe, and so it was that the tribe survives even as its leaders face their own fates. Each time the Ki'Sha seemingly approach unavoidable division, or catastrophe, a Kuz'a has been present to help the factions of the tribe overcome their differences. A Kuz'a is considered a gift, one that draws the many into an orbit that centers on a single voice; a voice sent from the gods. Whether or not that is true is of course, subject to debate. None can deny that the tribe has flourished each time.

So it is that the tribe finds itself once more without this voice, and so the many are spurred to conflict by their dogmas and their causes. Righteousness is in the heart of all, condemning the others as self-serving demons. Blood is spilled in the dark allies, and bright arenas. To the casual observer, it seems like a time of peace and plenty.. and to an extent, this is true. The majority of the battles for the soul of a tribe take place behind closed doors, distracting from wars or societal efforts. Those who know the truth of what is happening, however, fear the stillness in the air. A stillness that grows louder the longer they remain leaderless.

So it is that the spiritual, the warrior, and the scholar find themselves realizing what must be done.. each in their own way. A new leader must be found to save the soul of the tribe, to protect the tribe, and to guide the tribe. One who can unite all three, yet fill the necessary dogmas and scriptures that form the glue of societal belief. The leaders of the factions, as has occurred many times past, found themselves once again at a bloody stalemate that has only one solution in Ki'Sha society: Kuz'a.

[Current Status of the Tribe]: Outwardly Peaceful, but internally splintered; conflict occurs between factions. There is currently a search underway for the next Kuz'a, with each faction seeking a qualified candidate from their own ranks.

The Kuz'a
The dragoness moved with purpose as she slowly entered the capital of the Ki'Sha tribe, her steps faltering occasionally to take in the sights. It had been so long since she had started her journey that it felt like hundreds of years had passed. In fact, it had taken that long to arrive. The journey certainly hadn't been kind, and to many observers she would outwardly appear to be just another hardened desert nomad. Those that did observe her often looked momentarily startled.

As she walked, her talons clicked unevenly on a mixture of sand and pathway. Normally she would pay no heed to the sound, but the fact that her steps were louder than the hushed sounds of the city around her seemed odd. She had expected splendor and thronging crowds, but instead the place seemed oppressive, like gold tarnished until it had lost its gleam.

It didn't take long for her to reach the unobtrusive structure she was searching for, a place she was told contained answers. There were no guards or staff attending the entrance, and when she entered it was dusty and spilling with scrolls. She wondered if the one she had spoken to earlier was deceiving her about this place, though she had been reassured when the guardians of Ki'Sha territory seemed to know who she was.

"I trust your entry into the city went without difficulty, Kuz'a" A voice said suddenly, from a darkened corner of the room. It was the same, shifty figure that had approached her a year ago about assisting her with the final leg of her journey into the capital.

"I don't know why you keep calling me that. My name is Saiya." The dragoness would respond, lifting a claw to pull back the hood covering most of her head and neck. Brilliant ruby and ebony scales shown healthily in the flickering light of the single lamp lighting the room, broken only by many ragged scars. Her unusual dark eyes focused intently on the figure, as if she knew him yet was wary.

"Well.. Allow me to explain. I am a researcher, one who keeps the records. Call me the Librarian if you will." The shadowy figure moved slowly about the room as he spoke, plucking at scrolls and books absent mindedly. "You on the other hand, are.. according to my research, a descendent of one of the Kuz'a. Unfortunately which one is.. torn from the parchment. But who it is doesn't matter, just the fact that the connection is there."

Saiya slowly started to become agitated. She had been promised answers about her ancestry, who her family was, and why she had been left alone in the desert. The librarian on the other hand seemed obsessed with this 'Kuz'a' relation. Still, he was providing some information and seemed to be helping her.

In the end she listened late into the night, absorbing the history of the Ki'Sha and Kuz'a as her curiousity got the better of her. When she finally understood why the librarian had sought her out, she would seem ill at ease with the thought. She had grown so accustomed to her individual responsibility, that being responsible for many seemed exhausting. However, a part of her yearned to do what she could for her homeland. To carry on the bitterness of being abandoned by her parents would, in turn, make her just as bad as them. To do nothing to help ease the suffering here would make her like them.

As she listened to the last of the Librarian's research, she finally agreed to take up the mantle he described. Doing so would stop the infighting, and give the tribe a single voice once more. One with the lineage and the fierceness to reign in the more troubling aspects of their tribe.

OOC: Will be continuously updated.

Status of Tribe Ki'Sha (Saiya) Empty Re: Status of Tribe Ki'Sha (Saiya)

Post by Azreyus on Fri Mar 15, 2019 4:54 am

Ayato - or rather, Etheiun, as he now went by, having returned to his original roots - approached, at a brisk but comfortable pace, the forbidding-looking palace that rose up in the middle of Ki'Shan lands, one that towered above all the other small structures that dotted the desert around it; it had long lost the ability to intimidate him, like it had when he had first entered the Ki'Sha (something he'd felt against his will), for he was so successfully integrated into the Tribe that he was not a native of that he had stopped fearing being seen as an outcast, or being looked down upon. He was far past that stage, with a century or so of experience and knowledge to support his belonging to the Tribe, as well as the contributions and achievements he'd clocked, scattered over the years; few at first, then gradually growing in number.

Even among civilians, news spread like wildfire, and it hadn't taken long for him to discover the supposedly new Kuz'a that would be coming to take Athena's place; he missed the wyvernness greatly, and felt a twinge of bitterness, despite himself, at the replacement that the Tribe had found so swiftly, but knew that it was for the best. The Tribe had suffered chaos and major disruptions to their normal routines ever since her disappearance, and it simply couldn't continue if they wanted their Tribe to carry on existing.

Anyway, that was why he was on his way to the palace; his job demanded that he introduced himself and made it clear that he was one of the Aliugaans that could be called upon in times of need. On the way, he met several fellow Ki'Shans who held the same rank as he did making their way away from his destination, and he could only presume that they had finished their introductions; his suspicions were confirmed when, in response to his nod of greeting, he received urgent gestures to hurry up, and as such increased his pace until he was nearly jogging up the many worn steps that led to the grand entrance of the palace.

If she was not waiting in the main hall, he would go to her chambers and knock; regardless, upon sighting her, he sunk into a deep bow where his front legs were the slightest bit bent, but not overly so, and remained in that position for a solid five seconds, as the rules demanded, then straightened, his face blank and impassive. His introduction was short, swift, but respectful enough, as well as formal.

"Greetings, Your Royal Highness. I am Etheiun of the Aliugaan, and I am truly honoured to be granted the opportunity to serve under you."

Status of Tribe Ki'Sha (Saiya) Empty Re: Status of Tribe Ki'Sha (Saiya)

Post by Saiya on Sun Mar 24, 2019 6:32 am

It had been a whirlwind of activity as Saiya ascended to the throne of the Ki’Sha, so to speak. There had been some resistance to her at first; not all were convinced a complete stranger should be allowed such a position of power. Her anonymity was a threat to some who liked to know exactly what to expect, especially those elder to the tribe who disliked change. Such thoughts were soon silenced when she had presented her lineage as a long lost member of the royal family, though the proof she carried with her was fragmented at best and didn’t indicate which Kuz’a had been her mother. Regardless of the specifics, it was clear that she had a clear claim to the title and none had risen to challenge it.

Endless meetings had occurred behind closed doors to establish herself, introductions made, and servitude sworn. Such things were incredibly strange for Saiya as she was used to flying free in the desert and living off of nothing but her wits and strength. She was covered in scars from battles that had occurred for her evening meal, and yet feasts were prepared here as if such bounty was commonplace. Her chambers were practically encrusted with gold, servants would come the moment she even hinted at needing something. Yet all was not as it seemed to an outside observer. There was a subtle savagery to the court, viciousness behind the smiles, and she felt as if the gold itself had been stained with blood and polished clean. She felt that this place called upon her to adapt her savage instincts of survival to a new battlefield, one that took place in the mind.

So it was that she had finally come to the introduction of the senior military members of the Ki’Sha, the Aliugaans. She had decided to have their introductions be held in the Great Hall, as she both wanted to show her respect for them but also attempt to assert her authority as visually as possible. She chose to lay on her side upon the central dais, a golden throne-like place for the Kuz’a to rest amidst the court that was raised just a little bit higher than any other position in the room. She had an air of intensity about her that betrayed the relaxed way she rest, and anyone who looked into her eyes would not doubt for an instant that she was poised to strike at a moments notice. She noticed in the expressions of the Aliugaans that had arrived that they took careful notice of this, and knew she mustn’t show weakness. That is, until one particular Aliugaan caught her attention. He called himself Etheiun.

He seemed different to others, and something told her to be more curious. She had learned to respect such sudden feelings, the instincts that move in the mind faster than any coherent thought could.

“Greetings to you as well, Etheiun.”

Her strange accented voice rings suddenly, as she rises from her lounging spot to slowly approach him. Several of her guards and other officiators of the court suddenly paused their quiet communications, turning to look at the unusual movement. A tension rises in the air, accentuated by the click of her talons against the ramp leading down to where he had greet her from. A few gold trinkets sounded as well from the movement, but to him she would likely appear quite modest; she wore only what her station required, and no more. She would have the appearance of a typical member of the Ki’Sha tribe, but mutated and scored by the desert and its denizens. As she finally reaches him, she slowly starts to circle.. Inspecting carefully.

“You seem… Different.”

Status of Tribe Ki'Sha (Saiya) Empty Re: Status of Tribe Ki'Sha (Saiya)

Post by Azreyus on Fri Mar 29, 2019 9:18 am

It had been a while since he had last been in the Great Hall, and a longer time still since there had been any activity in it to disrupt its invisible state of slow decay. It looked the same as it had when he'd visited it previously (passed by, more like; he had no real reason to linger in this place, though that didn't mean he hadn't noticed, out of the corner of his eyes, the fine layer of dust that had settled over the once-magnificent room, now cleared away to reveal gleaming carvings) but there was a difference in the atmosphere now, a certain tense air that starkly contrasted the eerie stillness that, he remembered, had once occupied the air of the room.

As his gaze travelled the length of the room to rest on the elevated figure in front of him, he knew why. The new Kuz'a lay across the raised dais at a height that was impossible to ignore, commanding the unwavering attention of those in the room; her eyes did not reflect the ease, the casualness with which she lounged, and as he met her bright yellow gaze for a split second, he saw in those eyes a wary, alert light, but no more than that before he sank into a deferential bow. Even from this distance, he could see there was an abundance of scars both new and old circling her body, the marks of someone who'd gotten into uncountable brawls and walked out alive.

He didn't know what to expect of her; she gave away absolutely nothing about her personality save a sort of sharp intelligence he knew not to underestimate, and an air of competency. She was not a fool, for sure, though the question of what kind of ruler she would be still remained, unanswered: Would she be a disdainful figure that ruled from a high throne well beyond anyone's reach, or would she walk among them, the messenger of the gods turned mortal? It was said that she was related, albeit distantly, to the royal family; yet he had seen neither hide nor hair of her up until a few weeks ago. A rogue, then, brought in? Would she be a different leader?

She spoke, suddenly, startling him, though his surprise showed only in his eyes, flickering for a moment before quickly being hidden away; he had expected merely a nod of her head, or something along those lines, preceding a quick dismissal. Her Ki'Shin was flawless, though with an accent he couldn't quite place his talon on; he soon gave up the attempt to figure out what it was about the way she spoke, setting it aside for the time being in favour of dealing with his current circumstances, for the Kuz'a had stood from where she had been perched to approach him, and he watched her warily, wondering if the other Aliugaans had been confronted with a similar situation. Judging from the reactions of the others who were present in the court, it was an unexpected move, but the reasons remained unknown.

As the Kuz'a began circling him in a slow inspection, he resisted, without any outward sign of his struggle, the urge to respond in kind, falling easily into a practiced stillness with his posture rigid and straight, not a scale out of place. If, for whatever reason, she tried to strike him down, she would be able to get away with it; she was fully within her rights to do so, while retaliating would only earn him his death. Nonetheless, he tried to keep her in his field of vision as long as he could, his eyes narrowed the slightest bit.

"If I may ask, how so?"

Status of Tribe Ki'Sha (Saiya) Empty Re: Status of Tribe Ki'Sha (Saiya)

Post by Saiya on Sat Apr 06, 2019 8:13 am

Saiya was very cognizant of the reactions throughout the room, her focus halved by the creature in front of her and those who looked on. She takes her time, talons clicking like a clock. The silence hanging in the air is a deliberate one, meant to add gravity and to remind everyone present who sets the pace of events.

“A feeling, as well as a few.. Birds on the wind.”

She stated in a relaxed manner, thinly veiling the fact that she was keeping an eye on him.. And likely others. The dragoness finally seems to complete her inspection, standing directly in front of him and using a single talon hooked under his chin to lift his head and give him permission to sit in a more relaxed position.

“To be honest, I would love to have a sparring partner now that I am here. It gets boring, and you seem like you might endure long enough to entertain.”

She leaves the real reason for the request a secret, and soon enough those around them start chuckling; for the most part she hoped to head off any views of favoritism immediately. To many, it was likely that being the one to take the brunt of the Kuz’a’s aggravation and training was an unenviable position. She had other plans, however. Leaning forward slowly, she finally lowers her voice enough that the words they shared were their own. It was another odd behavior, but by now those who had met or seen her knew she was not prone to strict tradition.

“To be even more honest, I’ve heard good things about you. I need someone with a long record of trustworthiness. Now act like I just said something terrifying, and that you are concerned about this decision.”

She whispers with a cruel, fang-filled smile, her expression starkly contrasting the respectful but forceful tone of her voice. It hadn’t taken her long to master a fierce mask surviving in the desert, intimidation being a very useful universal language. Here in this new and strange environment, she felt the need to take every precaution.

Status of Tribe Ki'Sha (Saiya) Empty Re: Status of Tribe Ki'Sha (Saiya)

Post by Azreyus on Sat Apr 06, 2019 10:17 pm

The silence hung heavy in the room, punctuated, at regular intervals, solely by the staccato beat of her curved claws against the gleaming floor, going click, click, click, and as he waited and watched the Kuz’a circle him, he realised, with a sense of dread settling slowly but surely in his heart, the extent of his powerlessness in this situation. It was very likely the effect that the Kuz’a in front of him, in her quiet but forceful show of power, was aiming to achieve, or something along the lines of that, but he would not give, and would stand firm and strong; like everything else when one was confronted with the Kuz’a, it was a test, one that he was determined to live through.

He was unsurprised to hear that he had been watched, but didn’t particularly mind; he had no secrets to hide, after all, and his loyalty to the Ki’Sha was and would remain unwavering unless they gave him a good reason to defect. Besides, it was highly unlikely that he was the only one who was being kept under surveillance, not with such a clean record; the other Aliugaans – or all the high-rankers of the Tribe, really, for they held great power in their claws – probably had been given the same treatment as well.

A few more sluggish seconds passed before she at last concluded her scrutiny of his capabilities, and approached him; his composure faltered slightly as her cool claws made contact with his warm scales, but he relaxed as soon as it was clear that the Kuz’a did not mean to do him harm (not yet, anyway). Dipping his head in a nod, he allowed his wings to droop into a lower, more comfortable position, while his tail curled away from him slightly, no longer kept stiffly around a paw.

“I’ll try,” he murmured, wondering how he would go about doing as she requested; he was far more accustomed to hiding his emotions than faking them, and while he had not once spoken to any of the faces in the crowd, he was aware that they had seen and heard of him enough to know that he wasn’t the kind to plead in sheer terror.

Her grin was a vicious, savage slash of white, totally at odds with the surprisingly civil tone her voice took on, but it did its job of further convincing their audience of the contents of her whispered words; he joined the not-quite act (for she was someone to be feared, after all), clenching his teeth and stiffening very clearly, his tail slowly beginning to sweep, in an agitated manner, from side to side in widening arcs.

“As you request, milady.”

Status of Tribe Ki'Sha (Saiya) Empty Re: Status of Tribe Ki'Sha (Saiya)

Post by Saiya on Sat Apr 20, 2019 8:47 am

Saiya was quite satisfied with the response she got from the Aliugaan, and the part he played in her display for the court. The various dragons and dragonesses present were from tribe Kisha, but were all relatively new to their status; she had purposefully excluded as many members of the old regimes that had come before her as she could from positions of power. Many of the newcomers were less experienced with displays of palace intrigue, and so would present less of a challenge to her. That being said, she was counting on each one vigorously defending their new positions from any challengers, and keeping things in line when she wasn’t watching. This however had to be carefully balanced with the inclusion of those who would be loyal, but also had the wisdom and experience to actually perform their function successfully and whip the others into shape.

“Very good. You may go.”

She promptly announces, slowly returning to her position on the dais with the same lazy gait she used to depart it. She released him to return to his duties, satisfied with the exertion of control over a senior member of the military, and he would likely find that she was completely ignoring him now. She had used him to demonstrate not only a bit of her fearsome side, but to also show that she had tight control over those who held the physical strength of the Kisha; even if someone doubted her strength personally, they would think twice about challenging those she could call upon. It had also served to demonstrate she would not shy away from confrontation and battle herself, by publicly challenging one who had so many years of service to the Kisha and was likely at least somewhat known.

All of this raced through her mind, a series of mental calculations that ran non-stop as if she were in battle. She had determined that she would rely on not gods, nor magic to maintain her power, but the strength that comes from an understanding of the mind. A battle fought for someone's soul would long precede the fall of blades, and could turn the strongest talons and magics to a far more capable defense than if she decided to tyrannically rule by her strength alone. She wanted them, to want her, to need her in this position as a crucial part of their society.

“Let the proceedings of the court continue, with my blessing.”

She announced in her accented voice, and once again the quiet murmuring that preceded the Aliugaan’s arrival returned with a vengeance. They were clearly busy with the many details of running the tribe that were beneath the Kuz’a, and so no longer paid attention. They knew that failure meant gathering the attention of the tribes leader.

“Any may approach, should they desire.”

She also announced, and on occasion one of the tribe members would garner the courage to approach her for a quiet discussion. Should anyone in the tribe or a delegate from another tribe choose to, they could now approach her without breaking any of the rules of the court.

Status of Tribe Ki'Sha (Saiya) Empty Re: Status of Tribe Ki'Sha (Saiya)

Post by Krin on Sat Apr 20, 2019 10:59 pm

Outside the Palace a smaller, yet very strong appearing dragon stood at the base of the steps. Many eyes were on him, he wasn't of the Ki'sha. Which received disapproval from many, some of who took physical action against his presence and tried in vain to remove him. He stood and the top of the steps, in front of the door to the grand palace. Wide eyed at the size and grand design, although it didn't take a dragon with a good nose to know bad things had happened here in the past. He felt wary, should he go in with the small cuts that bled? Or return when he wasn't bleeding? That thought ran through his mind as he looked at his cuts. They bled decently, but it wasn't very much and it wasn't dripping everywhere, leading him to the choice of going in anyways.

"I don't understand why the Kainura couldn't of come himself to see this new Kuz'a...maybe its the scorching heat, maybe something interpersonal? Gah, i'll just do my mission and get out of the heat." he said to himself as he took a few steps forwards.

When he took the few steps towards the door, he was quickly blocked by the guards, making loud growls and harped commands at him in the Ki'sha language as they did so, which he spoke none of unfortunately. But as he stood there confused, the guards had their claws at the ready and muscles tensed in the event the strange dragon they faced tried to force his way in.

"I am here to see the new Kuz'a. I mean no harm."

The guards seem to become further annoyed at his words, which forced him to realize they couldn't understand him. So he took a few steps back and hoped the noise would draw the Kuz'a out to see what was going on. Then he would possibly get into the palace and talk to the leader.

Status of Tribe Ki'Sha (Saiya) Empty Re: Status of Tribe Ki'Sha (Saiya)

Post by Solarlight and Darksky on Sun Apr 21, 2019 5:54 pm

Solarlight and Darksky flew towards the Ki'Sha capital with Glasoc in tow. The three were there because they had heard news of a new Kuz'a that had come to power, and the twins wanted to meet this new ruler. There was no telling what state the relationship between Ki'Sha and Stormcallers was now. It would at least be good to visit, even if relationships between the tribes were still tense.

Once the group of dragons finally landed, the twins noticed a familiar face. Krin. When the pair and their adoptive father approached the entrance, Glasoc bowed to the guards and gave the a note explaining that the Rulers of the Stormcallers were hoping to be able to meet the Kuz'a. He also pointed to his neck scar, hoping they'd get the point that he wasn't the one to ask any questions. The twins meanwhile looked at Krin.

"Didn't expect to see ya here Krin."

Status of Tribe Ki'Sha (Saiya) Empty Re: Status of Tribe Ki'Sha (Saiya)

Post by Krin on Sun Apr 21, 2019 11:01 pm

Krin sat and waited at the edge of the stairs, he figured the guards were telling him to back off and wait. But who knows what they really said, he surely didn't know. Before he could think anymore he was treated with the pleasant sight of friendly faces. It was the twins and Glasoc. Krin watched the elder dragon hand them the note. The guards read it and both nodded at Glasoc, when the twins spoke to Krin it took a few seconds for him to respond, looking at them with a happy smile.

"Nor did I my friends. I was sent here to meet the new Kuz'a in place of the usual diplomat from the Kaamil, I'm hoping to maybe mediate and get the Kainura to cool down a bit and work with this new Kuz'a. I know he, for whatever reason was uptight and rude with the relations between him and the previous Kuz'a." he explained with a calm tone.

His cuts were out in the open and seeping blood still as the sun glared down. Reflecting off his scales a little. Not a bit of the light failing to highlight his muscular and fit body from years of hard work and training. Which to some could make him mildly intimidating from the amount of scars scattered along his body.

Status of Tribe Ki'Sha (Saiya) Empty Re: Status of Tribe Ki'Sha (Saiya)

Post by Azreyus on Fri Apr 26, 2019 5:32 am

He didn't bother to hide his relief at her dismissal; while he had full confidence that he would be able to hold his own against the new Kuz'a in a spar, he would prefer not to do so with such a large audience observing the two, and besides, he wouldn't have known whether to hold back or go all out. Losing meant the same thing for both of them - a loss in dignity - and while he wasn't keen to break his chain of victories, he didn't want to humiliate the Kuz'a either. Really, there was no way out.

Just as he bowed and turned to go, he heard a commotion occurring just beyond the closed doors; vaguely he heard rapid words uttered in impatient Ki'Shan, responded to by polite Universal. Visitors, perhaps, to greet the new Kuz'a of Ki'Sha? Curiosity hurried his pace and when he pushed open the towering doors, he found that he was right.

Before him stood a two-headed dragon who were around his height; if the rumours about their unusual appearance held true, they were probably the newly crowned rulers of the Stormcallers. The sight of them made him bristle, their presence forcefully bringing to mind the fact that they occupied land that could've belonged to the Ki'Sha if it weren't for the Tempest Ring that so fiercely guarded their home. Dragons the his Tribe could fight, but an unwavering storm?

Meanwhile, the second one present was a small dragon who was engaged in conversation with Solarlight and Darksky, who dwarfed them; Etheiun eyed them both with incredulity but didn't comment. These two - three, really - entered Ki'Shan lands without any knowledge of how to speak their language? Utterly ridiculous, but that didn't excuse the guards' foolishness.

He turned to speak to the guards in question, his expression grim. As his gaze swept over their faces, he found that he recognised none of them, which made sense; not one dragon who came under his charge would leave without knowing at least basic Universal. "Your inability to communicate in Universal could've caused the new Kuz'a inconvenience," he warned quietly, his gaze boring into them, "they were asking for permission to enter, which was granted by the Kuz'a, in case you missed it." With this said, he turned to face the newcomers.

"You may proceed," he said flatly to the three, in perfect Universal.

Status of Tribe Ki'Sha (Saiya) Empty Re: Status of Tribe Ki'Sha (Saiya)

Saiya was quite amused by the relief the Aliugaan had displayed upon her dismissal, aware of the predicament she had put him in and then subsequently plucked him out of. She certainly wouldn’t chance looking weak in front of so many, but she genuinely wanted to get to know this one better; and her method of doing so was quite physical. She didn’t even personally mind losing such a spar. She wasn’t so egotistical that she needed to win at everything, and she knew a proud elder warrior of the tribe would be very conscious of his honor and would be both an excellent trainer and possibly a strong ally for her should she win his respect.

She had been in the middle of one of the hushed discussions when she noticed a slight irregularity at the great doors to the hall. Several dragons stood out immediately on the other side, and her eyes narrowed. The one she had been talking to slowly trailed off to silence, at first turning slightly pale from her expression before realizing with relief that she was looking at someone else. The Ki’Sha dragon slowly withdraws to make way for the approach of the strangers, realizing that they likely took priority in that moment.

The leader of the Ki’Sha made no move to leave her physically elevated position, relaxing as she awaited the approach of the strange dragons. Leaving her position to approach another would be interpreted as her seeing them as equals, and she would only do so for someone who had dedicated their lives and service to the tribe such as the Aliugaan.. And, perhaps, to ones who could impress or gain her respect.

Krin had watched the elder warrior intently, he was surprised a little by the clear Universal. But he expected it of a dragon that seemed well decorated and knowledgeable. With a nod he gestured to Solar and Sky to go ahead of him. "Go ahead you two. Go meet the new Kuz'a, I'm waiting for Esridar to show up, if he does at all.." he explained to them as he awaited the Kaamil leader to arrive.

It had been a while since Esridar had last visited the Ki'sha. What had it been? Nearly 1000 years? The last time he'd been there, his father had been the Kainura. Luckily, he was not one of the many Kaamil who disliked the heat. Esridar had sent Krin originally to meet with the new Kuz'a, but had decided later that it was improper and rude for him to ignore the new Kuz'a's elevated position. Behind him flew one of his new acquaintance's, a young dragonets named Tinuviel, who was weak of wing but a very intelligent. She'd insisted to come along, and since he wasn't one to get in the way of a curious mind, Esridar had let her come. As he curved over the Ki'sha, he spotted where Krin was waiting, and swooped down to land beside him.
"You have not been here long... correct? I did not want to be too far behind you." Esridar spoke softly to Krin, and gave a nod to Solar and Sky, he hadn't expected them to be here. Tinuviel stuck close to him, and was looking around with wide eyes. She must've never been to the Ki'sha before. Esridar spotted Etheiun, and turned to greet him with his rudimentary Kishin.
"Greetings, I have come to visit the Kuz'a." His Kishin was far from perfect, the accent was off, but he had learned a few simple phrases. Esridar stood beside Krin, unsure if it would be okay for him to enter. Tinuviel meanwhile hid behind him, glancing between Krin, and the Twins.

Krin had a even more look of surprise on his face when Esridar landed and stood beside him. He noticed a young looking dragoness close to the large Kaamil leader, looking rather afraid and unsure of her surroundings. Once Esridar finished speaking to the dragon that put the guards in their place he nudged Esridar. "I never thought you'd actually come along." he said with a teasing laugh before looking between him and the dragoness. "Who's the dragoness with you? She's looking a awfully fearful right now...you want me to tag along with her when you speak to the Kuz'a?" he asked as he gave the young dragoness a kind smile, followed with a acknowledging nod.
