-Bubbly. Vella is always seeming to be jumping with energy, and is constantly happy/
-Clumsy. She constantly trips over roots, and misses attacks constantly.
-Optimistic. She always looks on the positive side, and tries to get others to as well.
-Oblivious. Vella doesn't notice things very much, and doesn't even know her mother is dead. She thinks her mother will come swimming home one day, but her father tells her not to be so certain.
-Trusting. If you tell Vella something, she will most likely believe it. She will also trust any dragon she meets, not caring or noticing if they seem sketchy.
-Easily embarrassed. Vella blushes very easily, ranging from if you said shes cute, if you hugged her, or if you did more than hugs.

-The dark. Although she has decent night-vision, anything outside her range gives her a bit of a spook. Keeps her scales lit at night, although it does drain her energy.
-Heights above 100ft. Even though she isnt able to fly that high yet. Thats still pretty spooky. Prefers swimming. Flying's a nono.

History: *ahem*
When Vella hatched, all that was in the egg was a puddle of gooey water. She then formed into her bootiful dragon-self. She didnt have very good control of her powers, and she kept changing forms due to her mood (when she was upset or angry she'd water). Her parents kept her from exploring, and didnt let her leave the cave. When she was 4, she figured out how to control it, and thats when her mother started taking her to the surface. She only would go to the beach, where she could teach Vella how to shoot jets of water at prey and such. One day when her father came to help practice, the family was attacked. Due to Vella's mother being a Seal, she told Splash and Vella to hide. Her mother underestimated the opposing dragon, and was hurt too badly. The father had tried to rush in, only getting knocked back with a nasty scar. Her mother died, and the two had to rush home. Vella had been hidden from the action, not ever finding out what happened. Whenever she asked, her father would ignore her, and she eventually stopped asking. From then on, Vella was trained underwater, and occasionally on capes (those rocks that stick out of the water). When she turned 6, she was able to go to the surface again, after having successfully taken down a swordfish (with some help from her dad).

Scale/Fur/Feathers: She has 3 forms. Her solid form, which has pale blue scales. Her second form is her translucent form, where her entire body becomes a bit see-through, and goopy water usually runs down it. Her last form? a puddle of water lmao
Eyes: Her solid form has ocean blue eyes, while her translucent/water form has white/black eyes, depending on her mood.
Horns/Spikes: She has two horns that are a bit darker than her scales in her solid form, her translucent form the water kinda melts or something
Overall Appearance:   i only have her solid form done, i doubt ill do her gooey form so ill leave taht up to yall




Abilities:
-Evaporating
Vella, as mentioned before, has the ability to transform into water. She usually only does this to sneak up on prey for food or to sneak up on friends for fun. When she is embarrassed, she falls into the middle transformation, where she's a little melty. When roleplaying, it can be assumed shes in her solid form. It would be stated if she gets melty or if she evaporates, and it will be stated when she goes back to the solid form.
Can be in this form for about 20-30 minutes, and when older she most likely could stay in this form for 3 hours? If she were to hold it for that long she'd most likely reform and immediately pass out.
"Can she be injured when dissolved"
uh,, kinda??? its weird to explain. yes?? its like if someone stepped in her puddle, it'd be like getting your foot or tail get stepped on, and as a hatchling she'd most likely reform if this were to happen.
-Night Vision
Somewhere in her family, there was a Xoya. Said Xoya had nightvision, and the gift passed to Vel. The range only  goes about 2 yards in front of her, otherise its pitchblack and she cant see s-- hecc. If she's underwater, the vision extends, to about 5 yards.
Strengths:
-Small
literally always a pro and a con, she'll get stomped but she can easily hide
-Brave
Vella will fight quite literally anyone, if it means getting to protect her friends. She loved the idea of being a hero.
Weaknesses:
-Barely any powers
Besides her Evaporating, she barely has any powers. (Her only attacking power can be found under Magic) She can't really fend for herself, only run away.
-Small
all of my dragons are small enough to get stomped i stg
-Not the Brightest
Vella is... Very head-first. She doesnt analyze things unless someone's upset, otherwise she acts without thinking.
Fighting Style: Vella tries not to fight, but she most likely will headbutt people or use her talons.
Magic: Her father had taught her how to shoot jets of water from her maw, but she cannot do this very well, as its difficult for her.
When older, she'd be able to shoot jets to about 10 ft? And the pressure would depend on how angry she was.

For evaporating, how long can she do this? Is it instantaneous? Can she be hurt while in the water phase?

And make sure to detail out your water jets if/when you come of age to use them
