Personality: Pearl is a bundle of happiness, innocence, and joy. She very friendly, loves her friends, and quickly gets upset whenever one of her friends is sad. She frequently designates dragons as "friends", even if she's only just met them and they don't exactly care about her; yet. Pearl just has a magnetic personality, one almost reminiscent of a kitten mixed with a puppy: she's playful, loyal, passionate, fun-loving, and overall just a hyperactive bundle of joy without a mean bone in her body. She'll chase anything even vaguely interesting, climb all the trees, and jumps in every river. Pearl's both oppositionally defiant, and a go-getter; making her surprisingly stubborn when she has her eye on something she wants; especially if she's doing it for a friend. But, surprisingly for one so young, Pearl has a highly developed sense of right and wrong and won't hesitate to (at least try to) set others straight. She'll frequently participate in harmless pranks, tricks, and activities; but she won't stand for anything seriously harmful.

Hobbies: In her free time, which is practically all the time, Pearl loves swimming, climbing, exploring, having fun with her friends, playing, finding exciting new things, trying new foods, and really just anything new and exciting immediately attracts her attention.

Likes: Friends, playing, sparklies, new things, sunny days, water, sand, the stars, baked goods, and ice cream! Pearl thinks ice cream is the best thing in the world!

Dislikes: Lies, people trying to talk around problems, getting scooped up by adults, making her friends sad, and mean dragons.

(Mother, alive, Artist/Diplomat) Kadrak Tomeslayer: A dark blue and cyan eastern dragon who was a palace guard in his heyday, he now spends his time researching ancient tribes, present military tactics, and filing threat reports which he then sends to the twin rulers to review at their leisure. Scale/Fur/Feathers: Pearl is covered in smooth white scales with a fluffy mane of white fur running from the fluff along her jawline and head to the fluffy tip of her tail. Additionally, Pearl has a spray of golden, bio-luminescent, freckle-like scales across the bridge of her snout and  constellation-like patterns along her neck, sides, and tail. Until illuminated, the side scales remain invisible but the spots on her snout are always visible (although not always glowing). Other than that, the only other spots of color on her are her pink nose, and her ivory horns.

Eyes: Pearl has big 'ol brilliant purple eyes that, upon closer inspection, almost seem to have minuscule starry nebulas within them.

Accessories: Pearl doesn't wear many accessories, but she does have one little golden hoop earring in her left ear.

Horns/Spikes: Pearl's horns aren't fully developed yet, but she has branching antler-like nubs sprouting from the back of her skull in a rather streamline position.

Abilities: Pearl doesn't understand most of her abilities, but that doesn't mean she doesn't have them! As aforementioned, Pearl has bio-luminescent, constellation-esk scales which she can illuminate at will. She can keep them illuminated for as long as she needs to, but she mostly uses them while exploring dark spaces and speaking Aquatic.

Pearl also has enhanced healing abilities, she can heal tiny injuries, such as paper cuts and small bruises, almost instantaneously; small injuries, such as sprains and more regular bruises, take 1 minute to heal (1 post); average injuries, such as bites and claw slashes, take 10 minutes (2 posts) to heal; serious injuries, such as poisoning and broken bones take an hour and a half (4 posts); and life threatening injuries, such as ruptured organs and diseases take 6+ hours (8 posts). She can do it, but it takes twice as long to heal others as it does herself.

Another ability Pearl has decent control over is teleportation, or "poofing" as she calls it. Pearl can teleport short distances to places within eyesight (usually within 60ft, she can teleport to anywhere within 100ft, but it gets less accurate {within several feet of the targeted spot} the further out she goes). She can also try to teleport to a place she can't see (same ranges), but there's a chance of her accidentally merging with any unexpected objects or creatures. Any unwilling creature can reject the merging, but if they're too surprised (AKA, I'm given permission) the merging just happens. Additionally, if the creature is protected by some sort of force field or other protective magic, Pearl will end up just bouncing off and appearing somewhere else. She hates it and never tries to do it on purpose; it's just an unfortunate byproduct of her ability. When merged, each "participant" controls their own body parts and abilities as normal, they're just stuck together.

When merging with an object, her body remains whole and displaces the material of the object, pushing the material aside to accommodate her form. When merging with a creature, they merge seamlessly and harmlessly, unless the other creature's body is innately harmful. They remain merged until separated by some sort of shapeshifting magic, or until Pearl can manage to "poof" out of the creature she merged with; at which point both her and the creature return to their normal shape, usually without any side effects. However, in more severe cases of merging, there may be slight lasting nausea, muscle spasms, and disorientation. Poofing generally takes about as much energy as walking to that place would take, so Pearl can't do it indefinitely. She can poof approximately 15-20 times (depending on how far she goes) before she gets tired and needs to take a nap and rest for at least a couple hours. But for math reasons, Pearl gets back 4 poofs per hour of rest.

Strengths:

~Small Size: Being a hatchling, Pearl is smaller, faster and more agile than most other dragons and as such can dodge most attempts to capture her, and outrun a lot of hatchling her age as well as give most adults a run for their money!

~Magnetic Personality: Pearl absolutely loves meeting new dragons. And as such, her young age and the pure concentration of charisma in her little body let her make friends even more easily than usual!

Weaknesses:

~Hatchie: Since she's a hatchling, Pearl's scales aren't as hard as an adult's and she can be hurt more easily. Additionally, since she's so young, Pearl can be easily pinned or knocked aside by a stronger, older, or more experienced dragon.

~Gullible: As aforementioned, Pearl loves making friends and automatically assumes that, unless they're mean to her initially, all new dragons are her friends. And as such, she'll defend them to others and assume that if they do something bad that they didn't mean to.

~Overwhelming Positivity: Pearl is an eternal optimist. This trait makes her just as endearing as it makes her foolish. She has an extreme conviction that everything should be fair, and that can: A. Make her an extreme annoyance, and B. make her obsess over fixing situations. Should she find a situation with a perceived injustice, Pearl physically won't leave until: the situation is resolved, someone explains why it has to be that way, or she's dragged away from the scene against her will.

~Extreme Heat: Being the fluffy little thing that she is, Pearl does NOT handle heat well. She can't survive very long in super hot places without some way to cool herself down like swimming, or some sort of cold-based magic. Additionally, her fluff could easily be caught on fire by fire based attacks. If someone blasts her with any sort of fire, not only is she going to cry, but she'll be seriously hurt.

Fighting Style: Pearl can't really fight effectively as she's so young, but when she does try to fight she throws herself headfirst at her opponents without regard for her own safety.

Magic: Pearl surprisingly has very few magical abilities:

~Shaping: Pearl can shapeshift parts of herself, or her entire self, into any living creature, including plants, that she's seen. Attempting to turn into an inanimate object will most likely end in her getting stuck in that form and being unable to change back. Changing forms takes longer with more of a size difference between forms. It takes a matter of seconds (1 Post) to transform into a being of her size; and couple minutes (2 posts) to turn into a creature significantly larger or smaller than herself. In every creature form she takes, she has her signature liquid purple eyes (should the form have eyes), and has a faint pattern of constellations in gold along its flanks. Plant forms tend to have an obvious golden shimmer as well, if not the same patterns along the leaves.

She can also shape inanimate matter like it's wet clay 12 times every 12 hours (8 posts). The maximum amount of material that can be shaped in one go is up to 50lbs; that also means she can Shape more of something lightweight than say, lead. So, for example, she could make a bunch of handholds in the side of a cliff, or she could scoop out 50lbs of rock and make a little hidey hole. Once she stops actively shaping the material, it regains its usual consistency and it's new shape is permanent. Pearl can always tamper with it again afterwards, but she has to physically touch every part of whatever she wants to shape with her own paws, so it's not the fastest process. Imagine playing with playdough as a little kid and that's basically how Shaping works; except it's magic so every material can be playdough if she tries hard enough.
(In the future, should she actually get experience Shaping things, I might ask to re-vamp Shaping and give it a range; but for now it's via touch and only little bits at a time.)

~Portaling: After Pearl spends 10 minutes (2 posts) concentrating, a sparkling purple portal appears on a nearby surface. The portal is only big enough for someone of her size or smaller to travel through, it stays open for roughly a minute from the moment it was summoned, and can only be opened to a place where Pearl's familiar with. Familiar place meaning a place she's spent a lot of time at. Such as her parents house, her mom's studio, her dad's study, her favorite tree, her favorite beach, etc... She can't visit a place once and be familiar with it. It takes time, specifically it takes 2 full hours of Pearl studying every aspect of a place to become familiar with it; if she had the patience for it that is. Because of her low reserves of patience, practically the only way she becomes familiar with a place is many visits (15-20) spread out over a period of several months to several years. Creating a Portal consumes the use of 5 "poofs", so Pearl can do a maximum of 4 Portals every 5 hours before needing to sleep.

Please specify what happens when she merges with an unwilling participant, can they forcefully eject her? And who is in control during a merge?

Poofing: How often can she do this / is there a cooldown for her ability? Does this use up her energy and leave her fatigued or does it have no side effects at all?

Weaknesses: Right, the number of weaknesses that Pearl has has is technically one more than her strengths, but to balance Pearl better, could I request that you put in one more physical weakness? Her small size as a hatchling is somewhat nullified by her ability to poof, especially since there seems to be no cooldown stated; it would be very hard for the opponent to catch Pearl, whether or not they're a fully-grown adult. Her gullibility only gives the opponent a headstart only at the beginning of a battle, but not in the middle of it (now this isn't a problem, but Pearl's weaknesses are largely circumstantial AND she has powerful abilities for a hatchling of three.) So yes: one more physical weakness, if possible, that is applicable in general situations (e.g. a weak spot.)

Could you also explain overwhelming positivity? I don't quite see how it's a weakness.

Shaping: Does she have to be touching the inanimate object in order for her to Shape it, or can it be from a distance? If so, what's the range? What's the biggest object she can Shape? (Because consider this: Pearl being able to shape entire buildings and render them useless... which is OP. And their new shapes are permanent as well.)

And as for Overwhelming Positivity, I was originally intending for it to be a somewhat toned down hatchling version of Vera's Honour-Bound Weakness, but I can see how A. the title might be misleading, and B. that it might honestly be more of a personality quirk than an actual weakness. But now that I've got Extreme Heat too, I might just leave it as a bonus RP related weakness

Pearl has to be able to touch whatever she's Shaping, and can only shape up to 50lbs of material with one usage. The largest amount of material she can grab at once is about the size of a basketball, but she can pull multiple basketball sized globs out until she reaches the 50 lbs limit.

Portals stay open for roughly a minute from the instant it was summoned; I also added that one portal consumes the usage of 5 poofs, so she can only do 4 Portals before needing a good nap
