A shocking meeting (private Sythrix, Shudaar)

Syth shivered, ever so gently, as she crawled out of the surf, and onto the beach. Magienta ocean wasn't the nicest of them, and the cold seeping in from the Icello sea often chilled her to the bone, the anti-freeze in her blood the only thing that even let her make it this far. Shuddering, she quickly shook herself off, and darted towards the nearest corpse of bushes, lying in wait for her friend, Keira. She had been supposed to wait for the other small Vuari, and happily did so, it having been many weeks since they had had the time to play together, and just enjoy each other's company. Of course, she couldn't have known she would be kept at home because of a mild snowstorm, and that the next small dragon to walk past wouldn't be here… but she didn't know the Vuari too well, and as far as she knew, Keira was the only little one there was. Wiggling her rump, she pounced as she heard the light steps of another small dragon, only realising as she flew out of the bush that this dragon had black scales, before smacking into Shudaar and tumbling over, holding him.

Even though his previous run in with the rogue had not lead to any hostilities, it actually leading to some friendly conversations, Shudaar decided to avoid the stream that formed into the lake, and instead went towards the ocean. Besides, it had been some time since he braved the arctic waters to catch some big fish. Licking his chops at the thought of the possible tuna snatch, or salmon, he lazily circled the Vuari's mountain, eventually landing down and using the pines as cover. Cover not from enemies, but from other Vuari following him and questioning him about duties. Leaving early in the morning had benefits, giving a fuller day of fishing. While sleep usually triumphed over other priorities, this morning the thought of fresh fish had gotten him out. Shudaar weaved through the forest until he neared the beach, smiling as he kept thinking of what tasty fish he would catch. As he was trotting out of the shrubbery and onto the sand, he heard a rustle, only having time to turn his head a bit towards the sound before being hit. Self-defense instinct kicked in, releasing electricity from his body in all directions to shock the attacker as he was sent tumbling. While not deadly, it would definitely sting. Landing awkwardly, he grinded his head into the sand before his legs finally caught purchase, pushing himself up and leaping away from whatever hit him, almost taking flight as his heart pounded, but faltering as he looked at the creature that jumped him.

The first thing Syth felt was a horrible pain, before being thrown back, the water trapped under her scales, and inside her gills, increasing and intensifying the power of the shock by several times, throwing her back against the sand. Her senses shot, her body twitching as the excess electricity discharged, several large patches of her scales, areas of her wings and around her gills would be burnt, black, and smoking faintly, the shocks having been so much stronger against one of her kind than another land dweller. Whimpering gently, trying to curl up, her shocked and charged muscles not responding to her, she quickly broke down, pain and shock, both kinds, combining. What kind of monster would attack someone like that? What kind of heartless 'dragon' would try to kill her? She hadn't hurt them before! Starting to cry, loudly, she was frozen in place by her muscles, still not responding, not able to escape from the person who was trying to, at least in her view, kill her.

Taking his time as he blinked at the strange attacked, he noticed that they had seemed paralyzed, with a bit of steam coming off of them. That was weird, as his shock when startled was more of a sting, not a full blown attack. As the adrenaline pumping through his veins slowed, giving him time to process and think, his eyes widened as he looked at the slouched over water dragon, twitching uncontrollably. His panic soon turned to a knife stab rough his very being as a feminine cry began to come from them, meaning that his 'attacker' was only an innocent dragoness. Eyes widening at this realization, guilt plagued him as he could only stare at the pained dragoness, knowing that he had caused this pain to them. Shaking, he tentatively stepped towards them, voice shaky as he spoke. S-s-sorry! I I I d-d-didn't m-mean to! St-t-tartlet me! A-are you o-o-okay?". No was the obvious answe, but asthe plague of guilt consumed him, he blanked on what to do. Walking towards her, he whimpered a bit, feeling horrid as he approached the pained dragoness.
