Personality: Generally speaking, Ja'nua is pretty level headed most of the time. He is very calm and sophisticated, as well as quick thinking and witty. He generally tends to spend most of his time either up in his home in the mountains or serving as a diplomat for the Stormcallers. He takes the jobs he received very seriously, and isn't the kind of dragon to fool around when there isn't a present threat. In fact, most of the time, you can't even tell the difference between him when he's serving his tribe on official matters, or when he is just lounging around. He is very hardworking and ambitious, and it is difficult to distract him when he is hard set on accomplishing one of his many goals.

Ja'nua also likes to read and write. In fact, he has even published some of his own works, and has written roughly 20 books, with more on the way. He is well tuned in all kinds of genres, from romance and action fiction, to books of nonfiction that talk about his own personal beliefs and theories based on his research. He is a scholar and a draconologist(anthropologist but for dragons), and thus is very interested in the inner social workings of draconiforms. Some of his books even delve into psychology and sociology, as these are topics that he holds very close to his heart, despite the fact that he is rather distant from other dragons, being an introvert.

Unfortunately, Ja'nua has a tendency to be slightly manipulative, and sometimes sees dragons as things to be tested, not individuals with their own personalities and uniqueness. Sometimes, he will perform he will perform his tests on subjects that are never made aware they are in an experiment. What is dangerous about this, though, is that some of Ja'nua's social tests can get a bit extreme, leading to potentially suicide-inducing experiments. As such, Ja'nua can be rather secretive, as he usually does these of his own accord, due to the relative freedom of being a stormcaller.

Ja'nua is interesting when it comes to how he views political leaders and monarchs/matriarchs. On one hand, he has a certain level of respect for some of them, including his own leader, Imperia, but at the same time, he himself would prefer a democracy, as he also does research into potential political systems, and sees one leader as insufficient. Though, he himself would never want to be in a position as a political leader. Perhaps an adviser, though...

Hobbies: He writes and reads in his spare time, and also enjoys gardening, and primarily grows desert flowering plants, and a few cacti.
Likes: Ja'nua enjoys studying behavior in dragons, draconology, sociology, psychology, reading, writing, being alone to his own thoughts, and sunbathing.
Dislikes: Pretentious, egotistical dragons, snobs, the uneducated and ignorant, storms that ruin his flowerbeds, and the cold.

Abilities:

Rewind: This ability allows Ja'nua to travel back in time by 1 minute, to allow him to correct something he might have done to embarrass himself, or to gain the upper hand in battle. The ability requires a 1 post warm up, and once he performs it, the ability has a cooloff of about 4 posts, and he can't use the ability again until after 1 minute, so he can't go back in time more than 1 minute, ever. If his concentration is broken during the first warmup post, such as being rammed into, he will experience relap, and become severely hurt, and won't be able to perform the ability for another 6 posts.

Dig: This ability allows Ja'nua to dig underground very quickly. He can do this instantly, at any moment, and it only takes one post for him to get completely underground. If the ground is shaking in multiple areas, such as in a fight with multiple dragons, it will be hard for him to locate where to pop up and attack, and he can only perform this ability 10 times before he grows too tired to continue digging.

Strengths: He is very intelligent, charming, and manipulative, and uses these to his advantage. Also quite fast, and can slither up to 60 mph.

Weaknesses: Ja'nua is rather thin and frail, and has feathers instead of scales, so he can easily be singed and claws. He also cannot fly to escape aggressive situations. Not to mention he is vulnerable against magic and most elemental attacks due to lack of defenses. Besides his ability to dig underground, Ja'nua isn't very practiced in combat, and rather vulnerable.

Fighting Style: Try to talk opponent out of fighting. If this doesn't work, he will primarily dig underground, and strike from underneath when the enemy is not aware.
