Mixed Up In Feeling[Private/Acer]

Ever since the meeting with Imperia, it appeared as if Scortia had been on edge. It was so strange. Things that didn’t usually happen were happening, such as that Stormcaller asking to be a part of the tribe, or that weird storm that had hit a couple weeks ago. The Kuz’a was beginning to worry that they had possibly done something to upset the gods. Were they being punished? Maybe she should have another visit to the Safyz’a. Maybe that would help to clear her mind of these thoughts.

And not to mention Scortia’s paranoia had been going through the roof. Yesterday, she had accidentally attacked her own tail thinking it was an enemy dragon. Luckily, no one else had been around to see the spectacle, but it was humiliating nonetheless, to simply have those memories in her conscious. Perhaps this was a sign…. Maybe she needed to put up a bounty for a certain someone….

No, that couldn’t be what was causing it. The Kuz’a shook her head again, growling. She needed something to relieve her stress. Perhaps a nice outing with her Grog. Scortia didn’t normally spend a whole lot of time with Acer, because she was usually too busy with her tribe. And when she did have time to spend with him, it was often for business, and very rarely casual. In fact, it seemed like that was how most Ki’shan interactions went.

Well, the Kuz’a was feeling a certain mood, and had needs onto her Grog could satisfy. Or perhaps she could get a massage. Perhaps they could both get a massage. She decided this would be a good idea, and summoned her servant to go relay the information to Acer, and to meet her at her quarters. She also told the servant to have three guards accompany them. She then waited.

Afterall, all her duties for today were done. She was home free.

Acer was in his quarters when the servant arrived, mulling over the meeting with Imperia and the dragoness who had abandoned her tribe. He was unsuccessfully trying to distract himself by reading his old journals and being sentimental about old junk, so the arrival of the servant was a welcome alternative. Upon hearing the information the servant dragon had been told to relay, he blinked in surprise. "Scortia wants to spend time with me? That's unusual, something must be terribly wrong," he commented, putting his journal down and quickly packing his things away.

Following the servant through the halls of the palace along with three guards, Acer found himself regretting not having his scales polished that morning. Obviously he knew where Scortia's quarters were but the servant had insisted on taking him there. Surprisingly, their quarters were actually a good distance from each other, something the designer of the building had overlooked. When they got to Scortia's quarters Acer knocked on the door. "Scortia, it's Acer - you wanted to meet me here?" he asked, waiting for a response.

As the Ki'shan Kuz'a watched her servant take off, she decided to do a little something to get ready. She would prepare her decorative jewels for her horns, placing them on gently. After this was done, she would dig through her marble and wood dresser, pulling out a beautiful necklace. The chain of the necklace was solid gold, while the large, square cut gem in the middle was sugilite. Admiring her handiwork from the oval mirror, she would nod to herself, making her way out of the lavatory and back to her quarters.

She would hear a knock at her door, and lifted her head, "Come in," she called, watching as the servant reentered. The small, pearl colored dragoness would bow, and make way for Acer to follow in after her. The amphiptere would nod at the servant, relieving her of her service for the time being. The small dragoness would nod, bowing once more, and quickly making her way out of the room.

Scortia turned back towards Acer, approaching him, "Evening, Acer. Yes, I did.
I entrust that your work has been going smoothly?" she asked, which was pretty much her way of asking how he was doing.
