An Oceanside Gathering (Open Lakara)

With the sun rising, as the nearby sea birds flew overhead. Ark awoke slowly yawning as his body stretched, knowing that today was the monthly gathering for the tribe he started to prepare himself. Shaking his snout as he walked down onto the plaza, gazing around glad to see he was the first to arrive. Thinking to himself 'Ah good.. that gives me plenty of time to prepare..' Asking some of the morning hunters to collect some fresh fish for the meeting, luckily it all went to plan and a suitable breakfast was available for the tribe if they chose to attend.

Ruisen paced around, looking at his maps from every single angle whilst trying to roll up a scroll as neatly as possible. The monthly gathering was today, and he planned on bringing the maps he had finished since the last meeting. That was a total of five. Five maps that had imperfections Ruisen didn't notice before. No matter how evenly he could roll up a scroll, he would never be able to move ink on parchment to be more centered. He sighed as he rolled up the last one, carefully placing it in his satchel next to the four others and one blank one to write notes on if needed. He stared into his satchel, going over his list of things over and over to see if he had everything. To him, there was no way in all the sea he was going to be disorganized in front of his Orca.

'Satisfied' with the placement of everything, he started off towards the plaza. During the trip, he tapped on the wooden part of the scrolls with his claw, not able to calm himself. However, when he reached the plaza, peace filled him. Ruisen stopped by where fish was provided and took a tuna, relieved that there was food since he skipped out on breakfast to organize. He made a short nod to the Orca and sat down, happy to be there and stop worrying. "Good morning, Arkhor," he greeted.

Sighing as he realised that maybe he was too early, yet knowing that it was certainly better than being late. Noticing Senka approaching the plaza he raised his brow curiously noticing the scrolls against his body. "Morning Senka, I see you've prepared" Chuckling lightly as he smiled. Continuing as he moved a little closer to not seem rude "Hopefully the others won't be too long" Nodding as he started to spot a few other Lakara heading towards them.
