Personality: Siren is notoriously reclusive and will avoid any dragon he finds threatening. When confronted, he carries himself with composure and modesty to prevent any violent escalation. Despite this unassuming and passive demeanor, Siren is not above weaponizing his wits and charm to suit his own motivations. In some instances he brandishes a silver tongue, and assumes the persona necessary to bend a dragon to his will. Siren only shows himself when he feels he has the advantage. His prey will see him as smug, wily, and unapologetic.

History: Siren was hatched at the bottom of the sea alongside his brothers and sisters. Their clutch was left inside a whale carcass where they could sustain themselves for several weeks. Eventually food ran low and they began to compete viciously for scraps. Months later, only one of the hatchlings had enough strength to leave the trench. When he reached the sea floor, Siren slowly learned to hunt. He would soon graduate to the surface where he learned to prey upon land creatures from the shores and rivers. During his young-adult years he was offered a position among the Fry of Lakara. Siren dismissed the invitation, expecting the clan would tear itself apart when the ‘whale carcass’ ran out. Decades passed, Siren perfected his illusive hunting technique and began to thrive. His hunts are no longer driven by hunger but rather, a lust for entertainment.

Horns/Spikes: Four horns on either side of his cranium extend over the back of his neck to form a sort of crest. A single row of tall, curved spines trace his back halfway to his tail.
Overall Appearance: Siren resembles most lindwurm given his serpentine form, however, possessing an extra set of forelimbs for greater support on land. His swimming pattern most closely resembles that of a sea snake, and therefore his talons are unwebbed and used only in grasping and terrestrial locomotion. His tail ends in a crescent shark-fin shape which further extends into long, whisker-like tendrils. His features are smooth and streamlined, occasionally ending in curved spines. His hooked teeth and claws are metallic gold in color; his skin is pale blue with purple highlights and shiny sea green markings.




Abilities: Although none of Siren’s abilities employ magic, their effectiveness renders them comparable to some supernatural abilities.
Mimicry – Siren can perfectly replicate any sound he hears including voices, animals, instruments, and ambience. Moreover, he can produce any sound he can imagine and remember that sound forever.
Resonate – Siren is covered in hollow spines which are used to amplify the sounds he produces. These sounds can travel for miles and be used to target creatures sensitive to certain frequencies. These sounds may appear to come from every direction at once or give the illusion of coming from one direction over another.
Allure – His most potent ability; Siren can speak in such a way that coaxes strangers into lowering their guard. It’s unclear exactly how this ability works, however, his songs may include subliminal messages that charm the listener into following or induce a subtly calming effect.
Panoramic Vision – Using his four eyes, Siren can view his full surroundings without moving his head.
Chromatophoric Maw – Siren’s inner maw is characteristically similar to cuttlefish skin in that it may rapidly change color and pattern. He uses this trick to intimidate threats or disorient potential prey. When feeding, Siren’s lower jaw may split to ensnare whatever creature he lures in (similar to that of a pelican) before snapping shut to dispatch the creature. Siren's prey will rarely exceed 700 lbs (317 kg), i.e., roughly anything the size of a leopard seal. This way, Siren may swallow most prey-items without chewing first.
Strengths:
Intelligence – Able to reason or deceive his way out of any encounter before physical strength is ever a factor. Siren adapts his personality to ensure the encounter ends to his own benefit.
Dexterity – Having an extra set of arms allows Siren to manipulate objects and tools with expert precision; Siren can multitask using all four hands at once.
Agility – When negotiation is out of the question, Siren propels himself rapidly with a powerful tail, winding erratically through the water to prevent an assailant from locking on.
Weaknesses:
Low Pain Threshold – Draco Hydrophiinae are built to take on smaller prey and are therefore ill-armored and highly susceptible to attacks from other dragons. Siren actively avoids beings who could pose any legitimate danger and, as such, will deliberately target weak or vulnerable creatures for an easy meal. This is because most any form of injury will coerce Siren into a full retreat.
Cowardly – In dire circumstances where Siren believes he has lost leverage over an individual, his composure will fail and his first instinct will be to flee. Powerful dragons (be it strong-willed or just physically superior) terrify Siren, as he knows these individuals can shatter his façade if their mind were up to the task.
Physical Weakness – Few dragons exist whom Siren could physically overpower, and as a result, Siren must rely heavily on bluffs and charms to keep enemies at bay.
Sluggish on Land – While Siren’s massive tail renders him swift and graceful beneath the waves, dragging his form along the shore is incredibly tiresome. Siren never strays too far from the water for fear of being trapped without escape.
Fighting Style: If Siren were cornered in such a way that physical combat were required, he would focus most heavily on evading every attack. Secondly, he would target every weakness he could discern in his opponent, attempting to distract or discourage the attacker and end the fight as quickly as possible.
