Personality: Senka is a free-living dragon, who believes that towns and kingdoms are useless, and that everyone should just live free. She'll usually break a law of a nearby civilization just to make a point. If someone hurts her friends or anyone who's innocent, she will do anything in her power to stop them. She considers her friends as treasures and will do anything to serve them. She can act immature at times she shouldn't and can get emotional.
Hobbies:
-Starting Fires: Senka has started more than her fair share of forest fires. The way fires move and the soft light it gives off fascinates her.
-Hunting: Prey anatomy and habits are very interesting to Senka, and she will stop to observe prey, often giving them time to flee and losing the meat.
-Flying: Senka is in the air more than she’s on the ground. Whether it’s a short distance or a week’s flight, she’ll be doing flips and tricks and risk breaking her wing just to get her adrenaline rush
Likes:
-Being with Friends: Being with friends makes Senka feel safe and secure. As long as a dragon she knows is around, she’ll feel less stressed
-Drawing: Senka likes to see colors contrast, so she’ll rub mud and petals along cave walls to look at the brighter and darker colors. Senka has made several cave murals, some of forests, dragons, or fires.
-Cool rocks
Dislikes:
-Too Many Dragons: Senka likes to keep her friend list small, for having too many people to worry about stresses her out. This comes from when she was little, being in solitude most of her days affected her social life
-Tribes: As said before, Senka doesn’t approve of civilization and tribes.

Fears:
-Losing Something: Even if it’s just a cool rock she found, Senka will feel betrayal if she loses something. When it’s an actual, sentient dragon, times that betrayal feeling by ten.
-Big, Horned dragons: Senka stays away from any dragon she thinks is intimidating. The more horns and spikes the dragon has, the more Senka will shrivel up in fear.
-The Color Purple: Don’t…. Don’t ask




Place of Origin: Senka hatched on a bank of Jade River, but was raised in the Ouatel Forest and grasslands near it.
Tribe: As this has stated, and Senka will state happily if you ask, she believes that freedom is key, so she is far from any tribe and prefers to live away from that, Rogue

Home: Senka roams around the Etcan Mountains and Outel forest. Being a shadow dragon, her instincts tell her to stay around that area, because that is (or should be) her territory.
Parents: Low ranked members of a clan of Shadow dragons that lived in the Etcan Mountains. Adopted parents are Silhouette and Rihzome.
Siblings: Senka is an only child as far as she knows
Relatives: By going back to the Etcan Mountains to search for her parents, she found remains of the whole Shadow clan. She assumes anyone who is blood-related is dead. Sonus is her aunt due to Silhouette becoming her mother.

History: Senka’s egg was abandoned by her mother, which the shadow dragon was killed for doing. She was placed on the bank of Jade River, hidden well enough that a predator or another dragon didn’t destroy her egg. When Senka hatched, she stayed in her egg, crying and calling for someone. After a day of attempts and no results, Senka crawled out of her egg to explore. For a few days, Senka explored the forest, eating berries and other plants. After a while, the hatchling ran into Sonus Decessus. Sonus raised Senka like a mother would, training her how to hunt and fight, though the dragonet had to learn visually, since Sonus couldn’t touch Senka. After years of Sonus taking care of Senka and many cool rocks, Senka thought that she was ready enough to roam on her own. She roamed the northern part of Layrian, setting fires to forests, drawing on caves, finding cool rocks. After many years, Senka ran into Sonus, her mate at the time, and her sister, Silhouette. Senka stayed with this group and Silhouette asked her to be her daughter.






Height: 30 feet
Length: 170 feet, 126 in tail, 44 in body (her tail does curl in so she doesn't take up do much space)
Wingspan: 450 feet
Scale/Fur/Feathers: Shadow dragon's scales are completely black and their external parts, such as ears, talons, horns, wings etc., are translucent and misty, like a shadow. Talons are long and sharp to latch onto mountain sides, an extra talon on the other side of the paw to help. The main joint of their wing also has a talon on it, much like a wyvern. This also helps to climb. Spines follow from the back of their neck, all the way down to the tip of their tail. Size of spines vary, usually depending on the gender; females most commonly having longer, thinner spines, and male likely to have short, wide spines. Shadow dragon's wings are stronger to battle the forceful winds of the alps. Tails are very long, taking up over half of their length for stability. Very flexible.
Eyes: A brilliant blue that seems to glow compared to her dark scales
Accessories: Not much, but she'll sometimes wear a satchel to contain berries or cool rocks
Armor: Senka's only weapon is a sharpened piece of armor on her tail end. The metal has joints in it so she can move her flexible tail with ease. It is sharp at the end, but dull around the sides to act like a shield, but still be a weapon. This tail-metal is much like a scorpion tail, just without poison
Horns/Spikes: Senka has two pairs of silver horns, one set above her ears and the other, smaller, set below her ears. Thin, silver spines trail down her back to her tail
Overall Appearance: Senka has completely black scales, thick to withstand the cold winds of the alps. Some parts of her isn’t black, and is a silver-ish color, like her claws, horns, spines, and small bits of her underbelly. Her spines flip up like a cat when in danger or scared (or if she finds cool rocks) The edges of limbs and other appendages are translucent, looking like a shadow herself. Because of her large wings, long tail and small body, Senka looks like a puppy that hasn’t grown into its paws yet.





Abilities:
-Fire breather: Shadow dragons can breathe out fire, but due to their cold climate, it is a small distance, around 80 feet from them and only 150 degrees in temperature (66 in Celsius)
-Condensed Shadow energy: Instead of fire, shadow dragons can expel a condensed form of shadow energy from any part of their body, like a shadow ball or a wave of shadow-y-ness
-Hiding in shadows: Shadow dragons can hide themselves and select others in the shadows.

Strengths:
-Coldness: Shadow Dragons have thick, layered scales to withstand extreme cold
-Climbing: Shadow Dragons were built for climbing, with extra claws on their paws and wings and strong talon muscles, these dragons can scale any mountain
-Swifter: Senka can fly at 95 mph and run at 30 mph
-Tail: Senka’s tail is long, which provides her with some advantages. A longer tail gives balance to her, which helps her to stand on her hind legs and attack or to run on mountain sides, usually away from dragons attacking her.

Weaknesses:
-Heat: Because of her thick scales, she is very vulnerable to heat, and tries to get away from deserts and sunny places.
-Fighting: When it comes to fighting, this dragon is not acing in it. She was not properly trained, and female shadow dragons weren’t trained to fight, so they aren’t built for it. Senka tries to avoid fighting whatsoever, and that usually means running away cowardly.
-Size: Being small has its advantages; not being noticed my big predators, one can hide in forests, etc., However, being small when you have to fight up against a bigger foe, Senka could get crushed.
-Mercy: If Senka does have the upper hand in battle and has her opponent down, she would probably spare them (unless they hurt her friends or cool rocks). Doing this usually ends up with Senka being attacked again or her things stolen.
-Maturity: Senka is not mature as a dragon her age should be, and sometimes just doesn’t even know when to be serious. This has caused her to lose friends and allies by not reacting seriously to other’s problems.
-Emotinal: Not getting over what happened in the past affects the way she acts in situations. Sometimes Senka can get really emotional for no reason other than a memory resurfacing. This caused her to go into episodes of PTSD or completely ignore someone (she doesn’t have PTSD I just didn’t know how else to explain it)

Fighting Style: While trying to avoid fighting, when the conflict does come up, she stays in the air and tries to stay away from the opponent, using far away attacks, such as a shadow ball or fire to hit them. She also uses her surroundings, such as whacking the foe with a tree branch or throwing mud at their eyes

Magic:
-Shadow Energy-
Shadow energy runs through shadow dragons like blood, but it’s not physical. Using shadow energy depletes the amount inside the user. The energy is regained through time and rest. The way shadow magic is used can differ.
-Condensed Shadow Energy: For shadow energy to take its physical form, it must be condensed and will be thrust from the body. The user can control the shape of the energy. The most common forms are small, dagger shaped bursts, spheres, and waves. No matter how sharp the user makes it, daggers cannot cut and, along with waves and spheres, just push the foe back. Think of it like a cannon ball. Spheres and daggers are more aerodynamic, and go further, around three times the user’s length before disintegrating. For Senka it can go up to 540 feet. Shadow waves are a close-up attack, so they don’t go as far as spheres. They only go up to the user’s height and a half; so for Senka it only extend 60 feet from her body. Condensing shadow energy takes more energy than regular shadow energy, thus more time waiting. For a dragonet, it can last 2 days, and for an adult it lasts ten minutes. For Senka it lasts 30 minutes.
-Shadow Hiding: Shadow dragons can use their shadow energy to cover themselves and move into shadows completely, rather than just blending in due to their dark scales. Moving into the shadows completely combines the dragon with the shadows, the dragon will only be revealed if the shadow moves, the user removes the spell, or the user runs out of energy. They can also move others into shadows as well, using the same technique they use for themselves.  
If the user decides to hide another dragon, the dragon will be cloaked in the user’s energy, allowing them to be hidden. The dragon can leave the shadow, but if the user keeps the energy on the dragon and the dragon reenters the shadow, they will be hid. The dragon will be hidden until the user either removes the energy from the dragon or runs out of energy. The number the user can hide depends. If they are a skilled magic user, they can hide 10 dragons, for a regularly trained dragon, 5. Senka can hide 2 due to not being properly trained.
Hiding in shadows takes up less energy since the energy is in its regular form. For a trained young dragon, it would take a day, and for a regularly trained adult, 10 minutes, skilled dragon, 1 minute. For Senka it takes 15 minutes.
