Personality: Very passive agressive nature, Deciduous would rather spend time gazing at the stars and taking care of trees than hear the stories others have to tell him. He can most of the time be found with his crooked snout in a scroll (that is, if he can find a scroll that large) educating himself on some topic he found interesting. He considers himself the "guardian" of the forest and takes it upon himself to make sure no trees are trampeled and no river blocked by dragon hand. The stars he finds quite interesting and he himself believes their constellations have stories to tell about the past, present, and future...wether or not this is true you'd have to ask him yourself and even then he wouldn't give a very straight answer. He basically secludes himself from most and likes it that way, if any traveler is unlucky enough to come across him they'd soon realize he's not one for conversation, but he finds himself able to speak with like-minded people. While he may be a denizen on the forest, he is not a leviathan of the ocean. He often finds himself in deep thalassophobia with the idea of deep ocean water and often stays as far inland as possible to avoid the ocean entirely. He has no sort of bad memories of the ocean he's just not very used to it, he has no idea what could possibly be down there and finds himself in fear of the idea.

Home: Located within a deep forest in Layrian, situated between two mountains in a deep valley with rolling hills and forests.

History: Deciduous was born in a deep valley, much like the one he is currently situated in. His parents were very studious, a trait which he inhereted. His parents like himself were very in-tune with nature and everything concerned with it, taking care of the trees and brush that inhabited the land they lived in, as the nature that surrounded them sheltered the deer they ate and created the places they slept, and therefore they found it sacred and worth protecting. Deciduous at around the age of 33 left his parents home and went off on his own, taking their beliefs and philosophys with them.

Wingspan: Slightly longer than their own height.
Scale/Fur/Feathers: Their body is covered in dark, forest green scales, which slowly gradients to mud brown on their underbelly.
Eyes: Deep crimson red with streaks and specks of gold set into them.

Horns/Spikes: They have long horns protruding from the back of their head in a color of light tan muddy silt that'd you'd find at the bottom of a river. Their species is aptly named "forest back" due to the spikes that run along their back that start at the top of their skull between their horns and all the way down to the base of the tail, just behind the hips, that look like large trees, pine, maple, or in deciduous's case, mixes of both. The trees "leaves" are made of deformed scales while the "trunks" and "branches" and spiraling protrusions of bone in the same muddy color as his underside, the leaves are a light chlorophyll green color and as he moves they jangle and clang together with the noise of wind rusting branches on a windy day.
Overall Appearance: His wings connect just behind his shoulders and the wing membrane connects along his back on either side of his spine and ends, just like his spikes, at the base of his tail, just behind the hips. His wing membranes are the same light pastel green as his leaves. His claws, including the ones on his wings "elbows" and the same color as the horns on his head. As for his head, he has a rather thin head with a crooked sharp beak at the end of his long snout, his eyes are set back rather deep in his skull and give the illusion of looking into an abyss.




Abilities:
- Fire breath, around 1,150 C, and shoots about the length of his body.
Strengths:
- Mentally very sound, and not easily disturbed or ruffled.
- Due to his large size he is naturally very strong, but he is mostly pascifist unless driven into anger or forced to attack by another.
Weaknesses: 
- Due to his reluctance to go near the ocean, he has a hard time combating water-dwelling dragons.
- While he may be well educated on some subjects, language is not one of them, and he often falls behind on communicating with others.
- His pascifist nature makes him not well suited to combat in general, and he can be easily overwhelmed by opponents smaller than himself.
Fighting Style: 
- He fights mostly with his fire breath, and his careful to only burn his enemy and not the surrounding environment.
Magic: A sort of "magic touch" to plants, his encouraging words cause trees and brush to grow faster under his influence, though only slightly, it is not very noticable. Any plant he encourages will try their best to always suppy a bountiful harvest and grow to sizes usually not capable of their species. As such, the trees where Deciduous lives are very tall and can even hide his massive self.
