The Stormcaller's library bustled silently with teachers and their classes, scholars showing lost dragons to their desired novel, and those simply enjoying a story about the past. But for Savan, none of those applied to him, several books were piled around the black figure in an isolated corner of the library, volumes on draconiformes, others, dark tales of past historical events, but mostly, the known elements in the world of Nuira.

Yet on one book atop a low lying table, he slept, snoring just loud enough to catch the ear of a nearby, potentially curious dragon. Spread about his form, the scarf that was always attached to his neck was unrolled neatly, showing a few slabs of well kempt meat wrapped in tempered plant material, while a well protected book in its proof-of-the-elements sheath lay within the center of it.

Darksky could not help but smile as Savan rested into her wing. She was happy that the simple act seemed to help the dragon. It wasn't much, but it was nice to see. The dragon then straightened up, and asked if the pair would be able to help. The two heads turned to each other, seeming to be "talking" somehow, before looking back at Savan.

"Yeah. I'm sure we can help." Sky then spoke up, seeming to become more relaxed around Savan.

"Yeah. The Advisers and Scholars should be able to handle things."

“Thank you, both of you.” An awkward moment drifted by, the sounds of murmuring and dragon’s claws shifting about the Library seemed to invade their little corner. He looked to the pile that Was once a mess. “I... guess I should get back to my books.”

The pair both smiled, though it did get awkward as it went quiet. Sky just flashed a kind, nervous smile while Solar looked out at the other dragons. Savan then said that he should get back to his books. Solar looked back, and nodded.

"Ok. Let's see." He picked up a species book, seeming to have something on his mind. Sky meanwhile went back to the book Savan had suggested. Maybe she had forgotten something?

Savan kept his focus on the book, flipping through each page word for word, he sighed, letting out a harmless puff of silver from his nostrils. The twins thoroughly searched their respective books for any semblance of Savan, but nothing would come of it, while they read what they had to find.

The twins had tried their best. Every species Solar found that could have been Savan just didn’t have some key details. They lack his abilities, or didn’t look right. The white scaled drogon began to wonder if him and his sister’s new friend was a cross of some kind. Darksky, meanwhile, look through her history book, but it was all like she remembered. Nothing spoke of anything like his kind.

The pair noticed the library looked less busy now. It must have gotten a bit later than they thought. It was sometimes hard to tell under the Tempest Ring. The pair then looked at Savan, with Sky surprisingly speaking up. ”I’m sorry w-we didn’t find anything. Maybe you should get some rest? There are plenty of rooms here, and it could help you think.” The pair started to move, but Solar stopped, quickly adding ”Anything else we can help with? Any questions?”

Indeed, it reflected in Savan’s weighted, despondent eyes. It almost took him a moment to realize what they said. “W-what? Oh… yes, sleep, that would be… grateful.” Savan got up to messily organize the books onto the table, he stopped just after stacking the last one, pulling out a crimson ribbon to store under his scarf, listening to Somar’s offer.

“I d-don’t suppose you know where they are?” He asked apologetically, stumbling around the table towards them.

Solarlight and Darksky smiled as they watched Savan walked out from around the table, though Sky curiously looked at the black dragons scarf. The dragon asked if the twins know where the rooms were. The pair both nodded, and Solar quickly spoke up. "Sure. Follow us."

The pair then began to lead the way, walking through one of the intricate halls.

He followed without pause, silently stumbling on the occasion as he yawned here and there, completely unaware of her admiration of the scarf.

The Scarf in particular bulged ever slightly at some points, showing foreign molds of what could be underneath it, of course, what was seen of him taking them under the scarf were apparent, but some just didn't seem to echo out an answer.

On the outside however, the dust-colored scarf had various patterns of aberrant origin, none culturally rooted to any of the Tribes that existed presently, nor those that were extinct, but they demanded a curious eye as they curved and formed elegantly beautiful shapes of whatever they might have presented.

Sky continued look at the scarf, noticing that there appeared to be more underneath. It was killing her to not know what was in there. The dragoness wasn't the only one who took notice. Her brother noticed the look joined sister had given to the scarf. She cast him a questioning glance, communicating through there telepathic link.

As the pair led the way to a set of stairs, white half looked back at Savan. "Hey, Savan. Darksky's wondering what's under the scarf." Sky's response to this was priceless to say the least. She hid her head slightly, letting out an embarrassed groan. It was clear she was curious, but she also hated being put front and center.

It took several long seconds for Savan to respond, if it were a response that is. He let out a quiet chuckle as he spied their commotion, replying in a rather adoring, tired tone. “Huh? Scarf? Uh, some food, my journal, a cry-....cr-...” Right then and there, Savan suddenly collapsed to the floor with a loud thud without warning.

The pair both listened curiously as Savan began to explain what was in the scarf. They had just gotten off the stairs when the dragon stopped speaking and collapsed. Solar and Sky whirled around, both quickly running up to the dark scaled dragon. Sky quickly began to nudge him with her snout.

"Savan? Savan!"

"Hey! Come on buddy."

No matter how hard they try tried to wake Savan, he would remain unmoving, but with a calm, steady breath. It was without a doubt that he was not waking up anytime soon.

Solarlight and Darksky looked down at the apparently comatose Savan. The sister of the two looked worried as the dark dragon just laid there. She eyed Solar, who seemed to be thinking. The male then asked his sister to give him a hand with lifting Savan on their back. ”We should take him to Inisha.”

And with that, the twins slowly cared their new friend down the steps, and walked up to the familiar door. Solar then knocked while Sky said, ”He-hello?”

Barges in unceromoniously. Jk. --

The smell that filled the room was sweet, but not overly so — just enough to be noticed by anyone who entered or stayed within the room, but something that would stay at the back at their mind.

It came from a cup of liquid that appeared harmless, almost normal save for the void-black colour, but on a closer look one would notice that the liquid did not reflect the light filtering through the curtains obscuring the arched windows, and ripples, their source unknown, travelled unstoppingly across its matted surface.

Moving the cup away from the centre of her table, which was scattered with numerous random things like salt, a dead fish's eye, small bones, fins and more, Inisha's paw jumped when the knock interrupted the stillness of her room, followee by a hesitant greeting; the suddenness of the two made her nearly spill the liquid. That would have been disastrous, but she caught the cup just in time, the liquid sloshing ominously.

As she got up and headed towards the door, she realised that the voice that said a hesitant greeting for once did not belong to her dear friend Caramina's — it sounded familiar, but not enough for Inisha to name the owner... Well, she'd find out soon enough.

Inisha opened the door with a light twist of her tail, and what she saw was the Stormcaller Rulers and a patient who she recognised instantly. She bowed to the former, before jerking her head towards Savan with an arched eye ridge, silently asking what had happened to him.

Again.

The twins carefully put Savan down as Sky nervously looked at Inisha. She looked back at Savan before answering. ”I got curious about something, s-so Solar asked for me. Then Savan was answering and c-collapsed.” Solar nodded at his sister’s remark, then simply added ”Can ya help him?”
