Personality: Athena comes off as cold and blunt, mainly due to her social anxiety. She doesn't mess around, takes no nonsense and is ruthless when she has to be. She has a short temper and is easily irritated by others. To put it simply: she'd be a terrible politician, but a great soldier or general.

However, despite her initial cold demeanor, Athena is actually quite soft. She's firm but fair, with a soft spot for the young or vulnerable. She's extremely protective and will do anything for those she loves. Loyal and reliable, she's also playful and enormous fun once you get past her walls.

Hobbies:

Knitting - Athena loves to knit in her spare time. Scarves are her favourite - weaving patterns into fabric eases her mind. She's quite good at it, too.
Swimming - Most of her kind don't enjoy the water, but Athena loves it. Any chance she gets, she'll dive into a river or lake and paddle about.
Target Practise - Practising her aim relaxes her, so Athy can often be found shooting at targets in the woods.

Likes:
Her own company - Athy prefers to be by herself. Having the freedom to think and act in relative silence is a luxury she rarely got to enjoy.
Snow - Athena LOVES snow. She'll roll in it, sleep in it, it's her absolute favourite thing in the world.
Cold weather - Frosty mornings, chilly afternoons, they all remind her of her home. It makes her homesick, but the cold is where she's most comfortable and most powerful.

Dislikes:
Crowded spaces - Parties and gatherings? She'd rather die. She can't socialise very well.
Hot weather - Ew. Sticky and dry and burning are the words she'd use to describe Summer.
Chatterboxes - Again with the conversation thing. If you talk a lot, expect to be stabbed in the face. Repeatedly.



Fears:

Fire - Campfires and the like she's fine with, but put Athena in a forest fire or in combat against a fire dragon and she's gone. She'll panic at the sight of large flames.
Eels/Snakes - it's an irrational fear, but snakes and things that slither drive her nuts with terror.

Scale/Fur/Feathers: Her hide is silver, but goes grey when she's unhealthy or hasn't been in the cold. She has electric blue feathers that run down her spine.

Armor: When she has to, but never normally. Her hide usually suffices.
Horns/Spikes: Ohh yes, this is a sharp wyvern. Four dark blue horns protrude from the back of her skull that turn electric blue (and to crystal) when she's angry. Six long, crystal, spear like spikes emerge from near the base of her tail, also dark blue, but turn cyan when fired. Two thick spikes emerge from the end of her tail, forming the shape of a trident.

Strengths:

Mental: Athena has an EXTREMELY strong mind. It's nearly impossible to break into or deceive, so mind readers and mental torture devices won't gain much ground with her.

Strength: Athena is able to crush you with her brute strength. Her lean muscles lend her weight and impact. She can bulldoze right through you without a second thought or stagger dragons larger than herself.

Leadership - Athena is authoritive, confident, loyal and protective, all good qualities in a leader. Despite her temper, when it comes to her group (or tribe) she's good at keeping morale up and keeping those under her wing in line. So she has an aura of natural authority.
Weaknesses:
Temper, Temper - Athena has a ferocious temper when it comes to other dragons. She can spot a goader, but dealing with idiots or high and mighty dragons WILL lead to her stabbing someone. This can lead to her having fights with those she loves, because if something is bothering them and they won't open up for instance, she gets mad because she feels helpless.

Fire - Athena's fear of fire and weakness to it will lead to her downfall in a fight. Easily burned, moreso than other dragons, and afraid of it, she'll panic and get confused around it.

Loyalty - Athena's loyalty to her friends and family means she can be used and manipulated by them. Her love, when given, is pure but blind. For all her intelligence, nothing can save her from loving someone so deeply they can do no wrong in her eyes. In this way, she can be prone to toxic relationships and friendships.

Speed - She's not as fast as other dragons. She's not a fast turner in the air, making it easy for smaller dragons to dart behind her and attack.
Fighting Style: Athena can do a whole range of battle tactics. From firing from her tail to brutally ripping her enemies apart at close range, she's one of the most deadly wyverns out there. Quick thinking, fierce and with centuries of experience, she can fight any type of opponent and adapt to come out on top.
Magic:

Crystal breath - She can unleash a torrent of white, freezing 'fire' which causes crystals to grow from whatever it touches. These crystals melt after a post (if they grow on a dragon) but in that time, if they grow on you, they'll sap a bit of your magic and they are painfully sharp. This is good for making walls and, because they suck in magic, they can be combined with other dragon's abilities. For instance, if you breathe lightning on the crystals, they'll zap anything close to them. However, they are weak to fire and can't grow on fire-based dragons. This can shoot up to forty feet away from her. The crystals get smaller and weaker the farther away her target is.

Tailblades - When Athena fires her tailblades, they turn electric blue and emit blue mist. If you're struck, they are freezing cold, extremely sharp and sap your strength. Unless you pull them out, they will weaken you for two posts and then their effect will fade, but you'll be left weaker. They don't affect your magic, just your speed and strength. She can fire these up to seventy feet away, but, naturally, her aim gets worse beyond forty feet.

Glow - This doesn't benefit her in battle, per say, but Athena's tailblades, headplates and horns will glow on her command. This is great for seeing in the dark. However, if she's weak or her hide is grey, the effect spreads to her crystal parts and she won't be able to glow, so it's also a health indicator.
