The Open Ocean (Open)
First topic message reminder :
Being a cool summer's day Ark had decided to relax against one of the many islands out in the open sea, seemly his tasks where done for the tribe and he felt like he deserved some time off. Laying against the beach his form on its side stretching as he tried to get some sleep against the warm sand under him. The sound of waves softly brushing over the sand in front of him, pleasing to the ears as he always enjoyed the sounds of the ocean. Not long before he fell asleep his tail curled around a patch of sand, With the island being open anyone could sneak up to him yet he trusted the area along with his own instincts.

Re: The Open Ocean (Open)
She came to a slow trot then stopped, chest expanding widely as she took a few deep breaths to stabilize her breathing. She looked to her niece then to the little dragon that stood frightened by her presence. Eyes narrowing the slightest bit she lowered her head and nuzzled Senka, a deep purr coming from deep within her vocal cords. "Senka. My dear it is so nice to see you again." Sonus sighed, wrapping her wings around her, disregarding the other dragon for the time being.
A few weeks ago, she would have never thought to be here, standing on the frozen peaks of the mountains half way across the world. She had only come when her heart longed for the one she raised and her sister adopted as her own. She smiled, nuzzling the little dragon softly. She finally looked up, regaining her posture, "It is a pleasure to meet you, Arkhor. I am Sonus, a Diplomat of the Stormcaller tribe. No need to worry. I am no Rouge, I will not kill you unless you try to first." Sonus winked, smiling

With a deep breath in the lithe female dragon dived toward the salty blue waves of the ocean. While she wasn't normally an ocean or water dwelling dragon, Prasi's mottled bluish coloring perfectly blends her in with the ocean water. This bodes well for her hunting success out in the sea.
With an audible "CLAP!" as her body hit the slipped into a large wave, Prasi snapped at a small school of yellow fin tuna scattering away from her lethal jaws. She caught two and injured one then pushed her wings through the heavy water propelling her upwards back to the surface.
She breached, pulling her wings out of the water in one powerful motion then pushing down at the air and water with all her might. Her body slowly lifted out of the water, heavy with water clinging to every scale making her sparkle like a deep blue sapphire. Once she was able to get to a higher altitude and a little more dry flying was easier. The she dragon swallowed her fish on the go still hungering for more.
Wanting to find a larger school or perhaps a larger fish to bag, Prasi flew further out to sea. The dark female could now spot an island in the distance, but had no need to stop and rest. She would continue hunting until she was full. Besides with the island in sight she could also see the familiar shapes of unknown dragons on its shore and Prasi was too hungry to stop and chat for now.
Suddenly she spots a tiger shark near the surface. Prasi circles it from the air calculating where the beast would go, how deep it was, how fast it was moving, and whether she might have to deal with wind or waves during her descent.
Then she dove once again towards the ocean in full view of the island and its inhabitants. The lengthy female disappeared into the waves crashing into the water to catch her prey.

Looking slightly calmer as the dragon introduced herself, sighing in relief "Oh... good I was worried that you were for a moment..." smiling as he continued "Well its a pleasure to meet you.. I certainly feel quite small compared to you two..." chuckling lightly. Lowering his snout for a moment, "So what brought you out here... its quite far out from the mainland.."

Re: The Open Ocean (Open)
Senka smiled brightly as the bigger wyvern nuzzled her, then hugged her. The spines that ran down Senka's back flared at the sudden heat, swaying slightly to fan herself. The black dragoness rested her head on Sonus's chest for a moment, lifting it off when the wyvern introduced herself.
Senka rolled her eyes at her aunts threatening joke. She lifted a paw and lightly shoved the fire dragoness, leaning her neck over and speaking in a low tone so only Sonus could hear, "You were doing well until the last part. You're already a giant fireball, don't scare him more"
Senka lifted up her neck, clearing her throat to shift her voice back up to a normal volume, "Ah, well," she addressed Arkhor, "I was roaming in the sea, and I guess I just lost track of time." 'Was that too nonchalant? I don't want him to know I burned down a entire forest and a tiny half of a village. He might get scared, even more so from Sonus's entry.'

Re: The Open Ocean (Open)
Prasi continues swimming with her catch deciding to swim and eat it instead of trying to fly again. Her wings slowly pushed against the water propelling her up until her head broke the surface. Once she could breath she floated there and continued to eat chunks of shark from the carcass in her claws.
Re: The Open Ocean (Open)
Sounds of flapping wings can be heard in the distance, it gradually increases in volume until eventually, there is a hint of whom it may belong to.
In the sky, a figure grows in detail, revealing to be a wyvern of a fairly large size, the distance is closed as it tucks in it's arm-wings, making it's way down to make a touch down with the soft sound, although away from the others for the time being, seems this one isn't going to be eager at first as he knows none of the dragons on this beach.
The wyvern slowly gets close to the water, quickly dunking it's way a few times once its reached enough water to do so, he is getting rid of the dirt and grim from such a long travel distance.
The water near him begins to heat up due to his body begin much warmer than the average dragon.

Shrugged, nuzzling Senka in return, letting a chuckle erupt from her vocal cords, rumbling the ground as Sonus' tail swept the sand into glass, the tinkering of the clear solid object filled the air as well. Winking down at her niece as Senka spoke those silly words, she wrapped a wing around the little dragon before gazing at the male dragon.
"I don't suppose you would like to know why I'm out here, but... I'm just here to keep an eye on Senka that's all."

A low growl of pleasure ripped through the dragoness's bloodied jaws as she finished off the last bit of shark. The best thing about eating something and leaving so much blood in the water here was that if she waited long enough more sharks would come. That's what Prasi planned to do as she floated in the waves now cleaning herself. All she had to do was wait.
Re: The Open Ocean (Open)
Ngozi calmly waited on the sea floor. He finally had a break, and had decided to fish near the coast. His tactics were different than most. He wasn’t fast, but he was crafty. The drake sat on the bottom of the ocean, waiting for the fish to come to him, then strike with his claws.
Soon enough, a nurse shark came too close. He struck it with his claws, pinning the predator-turned-prey as he bit into its neck and twisted his head, ending the struggle. He then began to eat his meal before hearing a clap, and seeing blood about him. The drake speared his catch in his claws and swam up to see what was going on.

Re: The Open Ocean (Open)
Long finished with her meal the dragonness was now just swimming around waiting for sharks attracted to the blood in the water to come to her. She wasn't an overly aquatic dragon, so unlike some ocean going dragons that might sense the drakes movements in the water she had no idea that he was near and surfacing.
Re: The Open Ocean (Open)
Ngozi continued to swim upward until he noticed a serpentine dragon. The drake swam closer before letting out a trumpeting sound and a spray of bubbles to get the other dragon's attention. He wasn't sure who they were yet, but he wanted to find out.

Re: The Open Ocean (Open)
First it was bubbles that told her something was wrong. Prasi snaked through the water like a giant sea serpent turning her head this way and that searching for the creature below her. However her eyes were not that useful under the water.
The bubbles were few, likely just coming off of something's body or escaping through the nostrils of another creature. She hoped it was something she could hunt, or someone friendly as she swam and picked her head up out of the water. Then all of the sudden a large blast of bubbles reached the surface along side of a loud instrument-like noise. The tone was.. familiar, though she didn't know why. the she dragon did understand that it was another dragon or dragon-like creature surfacing. Quickly she moved out of the way splashing through the waves with her wings and body to give the drake enough space should he be unfriendly. Then she waited to see who would surface giving only a high trill much like that of a bird call to warn him she was near.

Ngozi continued upward, soon hearing a trilling from the surface. The drake continued climbing unty his head finally broke the surface. His armored hide barely broke the surface while his head was held above. He looked over to see the Rossa, Prasi. The Nragin’s tail lifted out of the water slightly before “softly” landing back down.
The drake simply said, ”Rossa,” with his usual, calm tone.
