Stormcaller territory was relatively calm as a black and white, two headed figure stepped out of its home. Both heads sniffed the air for a second, hoping not to catch the sent of another dragon, then grabbed various manuscripts and took off to return them to the Scholars they borrowed them from. The two’s names were Solarlight and Darksky, and they were an... oddity among the other Stormcallers.

The two most kept to themselves, only coming out of their home when they had to. This, of course, got rumors to float around. Darksky just tried to ignore them, but it harder for Solarlight to. He would get mad at some of the more... horrible rumor. Either way, he put his sister first, and wasn’t much of a fighter to begin with, so he kept most of his thoughts to himself.

As they continued on their route, both twins wondered if anyone would notice them this time, or if they could actually slip by without much trouble. It was this thought that Darksky tried to get out of her head that led to her opening her maw.

”Hey, Solar. Think the Scholars’ll have something new for us to look at?” The white scaled head smirked when he heard this. It was always fun when they found something new, and it usually meant the two head twins would be in their home for a week.

”Not sure, Sky. We’ll just have to wait and see.” And with that, they finally landed, and prepared to walk the rest of the way.

Solarlight gave Caramina a smirk, saying ”Sure” as he and Darksky followed, and kept an eye on Icolock. Both know most dragon’s didn’t fly the Tempest Ring the way they were taught, but that made it an even more useful skill.

After hearing Cara’s answer, Sky shook her head, looking like she had failed some important test, then finally spoke.

”How did I not know that?” Solar just nudged his sister, somewhat playfully replying ”Don’t worry sis. I don’t think you ever focused on it this far out.”

Caramina slowed to a hover as they neared, stopping a good distance away from the spitting Tempest. Eyeing the menacing purple clouds, which were lit up with the occasional flare of lightning, she said, "Well, the safest way I can think of is to pass control of my wind shields to you two. That way, you'll be shielded from the worst of the rain, wind, debris and whatever bones that might come your way. Unless any of you have a better idea, we'll do it this way...?"

The pair both gave Cara a curious look. Pass her wind control to them? That wasn’t something they had seen happen before: For a dragon to transfer their abilities to another. Solar then spoke up, still flashing a wondering glance. ”You can... transfer your abilities? We’ve never seen anything like that.”

I watched and listened to the conversation going on...or tried to. My attention wandered else where and I kinda got bored waiting for something to happen.

"Hm... More or less, yeah, but you're limited to only controlling that shield of wind, unless you have wind abilities yourself." Spotting Icolock's wandering attention, she gave a small sigh at his impatience and concentrated, letting the air around her shift and swirl into three shields that was the height of their three owners. Passing it to them, Icolock and the twins would feel a sudden awareness of the shields, and could move them around with a simple thought.

"You can shape it as well. Now let's go!" Without waiting for a response, Caramina propelled herself towards the dark chaos that was the Tempest Ring. Only a few drops of rain managed to reach her snout before her shield expanded to cover her face and the length of her, and the heavy drops of rain could only pound helplessly against the fast-moving wind that formed the shield, remaining unaffected by the Tempest's own gusts. She was blown around, indeed, but never fought the gust, only continued her way forward, taking an invisible path that she was all too familiar with.

If either Icolock or the twins lost sight of her, their wind shields would tug at them in the right direction—literally drag them along.

"Strange". Icolock simply muttered keeping up as best he could.

Solarlight and Darksky tested the wind shield a bit, seeing how controlling the magic worked. They then quickly jumped into the air and followed Cara. The pair already knew where they were going, so it was easy for them to keep their course. Solar couldn't help but wonder more about Icolock though.

At last they emerged from the storm. The Twilight Palace loomed up in front of them, a towering, elegant structure; dragons were flying around it, some aimlessly, some clearly with a destination in mind. She led Icolock and the twins to the nearest platform - a shimmering white ledge - and, with her wind magic, tugged the doors open. Turning, Cara beamed and said to Icolock, "Welcome to the Twilight Palace!"

"...It's beautiful". Icolock said with his jaw hanging slightly open in awe.

The twins walked into the palace, shaking off some water as they entered. The pair then looked around, with Solar quickly saying ”Home sweet home.” Sky couldn’t help but shyly giggle at the drake’s reaction to the palace. She gave him a nod before checking the books the conjoined pair still had to return.

Icolock was awed by the grandeur of the Twilight Palace - as he should, Caramina thought with pride. "So, I'll take you to have some food first before showing you to your rooms," she informed Icolock, before setting off on a corridor to her left, throwing a glance behind to see that the twins and Icolock were following, and after a short walk that took only a few minutes or so, they'd arrive at a massive room with a transparent, domed ceiling, through which streamed gentle sunlight that illuminated the room beneath. The marble floor was white, veined through with black, while mahogany tables both circular and rectangular littered the space.

"Our dining room," she announced. "Icolock, the food's over there. Help yourself." In the middle of the room was a massive table, plates containing a variety of food on it.
