A fish out of water (Open to all)
First topic message reminder :
The shores seemed like a world of its own. Occasionally when Asherah poked her head out of the salty home, she would wonder what the odd creatures of this world did and why. Who were they and did they even speak or understand speech. She had heard bit of other tribes from her home tribe but she never seen another tribe dragon, though she did not build a fearful imagery of them as she figured she was strong enough to take any of them down. In the water anyways. Slowly she swam to the shore filled with curiosity and perhaps a false sense of confidence. The massive drake looked like a beached whale when they finally got on land and seemed a bit helpless though she was able to move on land slowly by the power of her massive muscles and many fins.
Asherah looked around the beach, at the scuttling crabs and the annoying gulls and a disappointed look came across her face, making her body slowly turn a deep blue. "Ah no dragons," She sighed "Useless trip". She then sprawled out in the sand with a defeated look on her face. "Not all bad.. Crab hunt" She muttered her eyes trained on the curious crabs checking her out.

"Oh, um, sure! Do you have anywhere in mind?" Emri was relieved for the distraction although she was internally smacking herself. She'd been trusted with a secret and she'd nearly spilled it! She really needed to work on her secret-keeping skills, she had dragons depending on her ability to do so. But now wasn't the time to dwell on that, she should just focus on the present; if she was lucky, she might have even found 2 new friends!

"Perhaps might I suggest exploring the Xoya tribe's territory." Noctis smiles happily.

"uhh... I think I want to go where Emri wanted to" She said with a smile, she was a little too nervous to go to a whole tribe, even more so to one that sounded so spooky

"Very well, I'm curious too. I'll tag along." Noctis gets ready and stands up.

"Oh, um, sure! It's, uh, it's a little ways away. Are you sure you can make it there okay Asherah?" Emri asked, clearly worried for her new friend; although she did seem rather relieved when Ash suggested something other than visiting the Xoya. She didn't want to seem rude or scared, but she didn't like crossing a tribe's territory unless she had to; even if she was being escorted by a member of said tribe.

She nodded her head. "I have plenty of water, I will be fine. Thank you" A splash of excited colors and curiosity danced around Ash's body. She never explored the land this much, she never left the beach. This was thrilling to her and she was glad she had friend with her to go exploring.

Noctis follows also enjoying the sights of a different land. "Interesting, the weather is not all that different than the Xoyan lands."

Re: A fish out of water (Open to all)
"Ah, okay then! We're not super close, so it'll probably take a few hours to get there." She jumped into the air and started leading the way. It did, in fact, take a couple hours; flying over miles of thick forests, lush meadows, and finally over the shallow Magienta Ocean. Emri noticeably relaxed considerably when they were over the clear waters of the Magienta, an odd reaction as she very noticeably wasn't comfortable with the other ocean, but something was obviously different as she actually plunged, laughing, into the warm, clear waters.
"It's pretty salty, but it feels really good after a long flight!" She flipped onto her back and floated for a few seconds before pointing over to the west where, not too far away, a large island could be seen cresting over the horizon, "Muri Taka's just right over there!" She flipped back onto her stomach and started swimming crocodile-style towards it. Her wings were so tired, why not swim a little? She could see anything that might try to attack her, so her fears were largely abated.

Noctis' stomach growls demanding sustenance. He looks around in the clear water and spots a large tuna. He dives for it head first into the water and bites it with his teeth, he surfaces and starts swimming to the island with his catch in his mouth.

Re: A fish out of water (Open to all)
Asherah was a particularly slow flier, it seemed like her wings had troubles keeping such a heavy body in the air but once they hit water again she felt relief. It almost felt like the water was cooling her burning muscles and relaxing a bit, she reverted back to her sea form, growing in size as she did. "Water so nice" She sighed happily
Despite her size, Asherah was fast in the water and much faster than her speed on land. Everyone seemed to go quite a lot faster, almost as if the current was flowing with them. In fact it was, as Asherah used her magic to command the water to move as she pleased and made sure everyone stayed up to speed with each other. Seeing land Asherah smiled. Her trip was almost over and she could finally see what this place was and it made her excited.

Noctis feels the current pushing him along, he thinks for a moment. "That's quite a talent you got Asherah, to bend the currents to your will is quite impressive." Noctis says with praise.

Re: A fish out of water (Open to all)
"Oh!" Emri was very startled as the current suddenly kicked up, she actually flailed for a moment before realizing it was Ash's magic after Noctis figured it out. She hesitated for a moment before letting the current push her towards the island.
A fairly short time later, thanks to Ash's current, the three were swiftly deposited onto a warm, white sand beach. Exotic bird calls echoed out over the dense jungle and strange, but sweet and pleasant scents drifted about from large, brightly colored flowers and the odd looking fruits that dangled from various trees. "Well here we are!" Emri looked around happily, obviously happy to be home.

Noctis shakes the water off of him spraying it all over Emri. "The warmth feels great after taking a swim."
