Mending of body and heart [Private with Sapphire]

Hyruu swore once again as the harsh wind stung his face. The numerous small wounds he was having were exposed to the wind, and blood was staining parts of his fur near his face.
The day had started well. A warm sun rise, no Shudaar to annoy him, a small hunt, a bigger prey spotted... And then a big root. Before he had the time to realize it his face had hit the tree in front of him, leaving multiple scratching marks on his cheek and broken his muzzle. Hyruu whimpered from the pain, finally reaching the entrance of the Vuari city.
He made his way toward the center, where the healers were. Another whimper, but at least now the wind wasn't stinging him anymore. He reached the healers quarter of the town, letting out another whimper as she rang the small bell that was set there to indicate someone was waiting for a healer. He just hoped that at that hour there was a healer available...

Raising her brow towards Hyruu as he pointed towards the berries. "Ermm.. sure.." taking a paw full of some placing it onto her plate. Taking her time she slowly ate one by one enjoying the seemly sweet and sour taste. "I see what you mean.." giggling slightly as she continued eating them her tail moved over towards his pressing slightly against him.

Hyruu smiled as Sapphire helped herself a good paw full of them, deciding to do the same. He began to eat the delicate berries when he felt the dragoness's tail brush against his own. Without thinking about it, totally by instinct, his tail delicately curled around hers. Those raspberries were really great.

Gasping slightly from his tail curling around hers, giggling slightly as she replied "Careful Ruu.. I don't like it when my fur gets messed up" sticking her tongue out at him playfully. Finished with the berries she couldn't help but give him a wide smile raising her brow.

It was when Sapphire began to speak that Hyruu realized where his tail had wandered to. Surprised to find himself in such a situation, he began to blush, his cheek litterally turning red. He was getting a bit confused though. Ruu? She was already giving him a nickname? Or was she simply messing with him? Yeah that was probably that.
"W-well, no one really likes having their fur messed up..." he awkwardly answered.
The grey dragon began to brush Sapphire's tail, making sure to brush in the direction of the fur to set it back flat and neat.

Giggling at his blushing, "Aww you do look cute when you blush, maybe you should get it seen too" smirking slighty as she began to tap her tail against the floor as she waited for his response. She began to fidget as she tapped with her paws seemily high on energy.

Sapphire's answer made it even harder for the poor Hyruu. Did she just call him cute? The blush engulfed his whole face, and he confusedly blinked. Why was something like that happening every time he was with her? It was just like the previous day!
"I... Erm, really? I mean... Erm..." he stuttered, unable to form a correct answer.
It didn't help that Sapphire was tapping her tail with his still coiled around. She was doing this on purpose wasn't she?

Smiling warmly towards him as she leant in closer with her snout, "Yeah Ruu.. you go bright red quite a lot.. I don't mind though.." lightly giggling she continued moving in even closer, "So.. thanks for the meal.. again.." suddenly she was within breathing distance, only to lightly kiss the side of his cheek, a way for saying thank you. Pulling away her eyes still gazing towards his, smiling innocently as she stuck her tongue out, "You know.. we should see each other more.. I do enjoy making you blush." giggling again she began to stroke his tail with her own trying to comfort the poor blushing male.

Hyruu gulped as the dragoness began to lean closer from his head. Somehow this was making him even more uncomfortable. All what he could emit were sounds that vaguely sounded like words, but didn't have any meaning. Just like yesterday he was unable to act.
But Sapphire went even farther. As she leant closer, he felt her lightly kiss his cheek. All his thoughts shattered at that moment. His jaw dropped, and he found himself totally unable to act. The blush engulfed his whole body in the span of a second, and his eyes were wide opened. His thoughts were so confused they only managed to cancel each other, leaving he poor dragon in a state of total confusion.

Tilting her head as she looked curiously, "Are you alright?" giggling still smiling mischievously. Leaning backwards she waited for him to respond, uncoiling her tail from his she pulled herself onto her feet. "Well.. Is there anything else you wish to ask... or do?" Raising her brow trying to stop herself from giggling at his reaction. Leaning in close again as he still didn't respond only being a few inches away from his snout. "Ruu?.. still there?"

Hyruu was definitely confused and blushing hard from the behavior of the dragoness. She... She kissed him! That information strangely had a hard time being processed, and even many seconds after he couldn't quite process everything. By the time he could start processing the world correctly Sapphire had definitely noticed how unresponsive he has been. The now cherry red dragon had a startled head movement as he realized Sapphire was once again so close from his snout, his breathing suddenly accelerating.
"I... Sorry... Erm... Yeah sure... I..." he awkwardly stuttered.
He interrupted himself in the middle of his sentence, his look locked into her eyes, maw still opened on a silent word. Her eyes were so beautiful. He was captivated by her look, enough not to notice his head slowly moving. But he did definitely notice when his muzzle booped hers. Once again he had a startled head movement.
"Oh- I- Erm- S-sorry- D-didn't mean to..." he even more awkwardly stuttered.

Smiling brightly as he booped her muzzle, giggling again as he stuttered. Sighing in relief as she replied "Its alright.. Ruu.. what if I said.. I had certain feelings for you.." raising her brow towards him. Smiling slightly towards him as her icy blue eyes locked onto his own, licking the side of his cheek. Chuckling slightly as she waited for his response.

Well if Sapphire thought Hyruu couldn't be stunned more than he was, she would be proven wrong. The grey dragon began to blink, eyes locked within hers as his mind tried its best to process her words. No, she couldn't be meaning what she just said! They had barely met, and tons of other reasons that didn't last any longer in his mind than the fraction of second they appeared.
"F-Feelings?" was all the could stutter.
He froze when the dragoness began to lick his cheek. No, he wasn't dreaming. That was too much for him to process right now.

Smiling as she looked slightly nervous "Y..yeah.. you know.. do you not have any for me..?" tilting her snout as she looked slightly scared frowning. Her tail brushing against his trying to comfort him, "H..hyruu?" looking saddened from his reaction as she sighed.

The confusion in Hyruu's pond was starting to turn into a panic. What was going on? Feelings? Was Sapphire really meaning she had feelings for him? But they barely met! How could one decide to have feelings after such a short while? He was liking her, but how was he supposed to know he was in love with her? And even worse the dragoness was looking hurt by his reaction! He didn't have much time to think. He would wound her if he said that he didn't love her. But he wasn't sure yet that he actually loved her! That was way too soon!

In the midst of the confused storm that was his mind, a calmer memory emerged. It was a moment with his step father, when younger him was wondering what live was. The answer he had been given at that moment left him perplexed, but it strangely suited the moment he was living right now. "You won't necessarily know you are in love. But if you ever wonder whether you are, then you should take the risk." It perfectly fitted his current emotions. He was right. Maybe Hyruu should just take the risk.

The still red dragon decided to throw away his doubts. Though he was still confused enough not to be able to form a correct sentence. As such he decided to instead just act on an impulse. He brought his head forward, and all of a sudden locked his jaws with Sapphire.

Sighing again as he didn't respond frowning as she lowered her snout, only to suddenly have her maw locked with Hyruu's blushing slightly herself as she relaxed into his kiss. Her eyes going wide for a moment as she smiled, pulling away gasping slightly "I guess that's your answer..." giggling again as she felt excited and happy that Hyruu responded. "W...we.. can take it slow.. doesn't.. mean we have to rush.."
